Today hiking with Mia in the Malá Fatra mountains in Slovakia. We started from Zázrivá Biela and climbed up to the summit of Osnica 1363m.

The trail was like a littlebit steep, 11km with nearly 900m of elevation, but every step was worth it. We had the trail almost entirely to ourselves, enjoying the peace and quiet. The views are the best in Malá Fatra, especially the stunning look at Veľký Rozsutec, Stoh, and the Tatra panorama on the horizon.

It's a fantastic route for anyone hiking with a dog.

Walking through the misty trails of the Black Forest and visiting Triberg Waterfall. Standing at 163 meters tall with 7 beautiful cascades, it’s one of Germany’s highest and most spectacular waterfalls.

Lost in the wild nature of the Slovak Low Tatras 🇸🇰
⛰️ No crowds, no human noise—just pure wilderness.
🐾 Before hitting the trail, a warning sign reminded us that we share these mountains with plenty of bears 🐻 Let’s just say my throat hurts more from singing at the top of my lungs to scare them away than my legs do from hiking!
🏕 Ended the day camping at #utulna andrejcova : incredibly hospitable host, cold beer, an atmospheric bonfire, and a magical sunset. Sleeping in our tent with Mia was cozy and warm.
Highly recommend!

Late Saturday afternoon on Javorovy ⛰️☁️ A relaxed, active hike with my dog.
The sky was an endless ocean of clouds, offering a perfect slice of slow life. Immersed in nature's beauty, this was a day of small, memorable adventures 🐾🌲

My #LH18 in the Czech Beskids!
Took the yellow trail, today—850m of climbing. It’s a pleasant, mostly shaded route, making it absolutely perfect for a summer day. Plus, it's wonderfully uncrowded.

Yesterday hike with Mia to the Strážov ⛰️ ⛰️ Mountains in Slovakia. We climbed the highest peak, Strážov, on a day blessed with warm weather and stunning views ✨️. It was a demanding 16km hike with nearly 1,000m of elevation gain, including steep sections and stops at Čierny Vrch and Vráblová on the way back🥾.

✨️ The highlight of the trip was a unique local tradition we learned from fellow hikers: apparently, in the Slovakian mountains on the 1st of May, it’s a custom to carry your own beer to the summit and drink it there. We gladly joined in the tradition to celebrate our successful climb🍺🍺🍺
