Allow me to reintroduce myself…

This is 2026, and I’m stepping forward as the fullest version of me. I’m Cerise Barton: founder of Bible Nerd, WNBA Chaplain, founder of Be Well-spiritual care, co-founder of The Vine Collective and an associate pastor, who’s all about living, laughing, loving, and curating spaces where authentic community thrives.

This is me, unfiltered and ready for what’s next. This year isn’t about choosing this OR that—it’s about embracing this AND that.

Stay tuned for what’s coming next!

The end-of-year race is ON.
Finish the project. Hit the goal. Check the box. Get it done.

But I keep coming back to a different question:

Who do I want to BE when this year ends?

So I’m bringing back 75 Days God’s Way — 75 days of Scripture, reflection, prayer, and simple daily practices centered around:

✨ Faith
✨ Discipline
✨ Wellness
✨ Growth

Not another thing to accomplish.
An invitation to pay attention to who you’re becoming.

Start October 18 → Day 75 is December 31. 👀

Comment CHALLENGE and I’ll send you the link. 🤎

DAY 12 + 13: THE PRACTICE OF COMMUNITY

For the next two days, we’re paying attention to community. Not just the community we give, but the community we’re willing to receive.

Today: Who are your people? Pay attention to who God has already placed around you.

Tomorrow: Get out of the workbook. 😂
Who came to mind?

Listen. Encourage. Pray. Serve. Invite. Reach back. Let yourself be known.

Pick one person and one action.

And don’t miss this: receiving someone’s love, encouragement, help, presence, or care is part of practicing community too.

Comment PRACTICE if you want hop in, I’ll send you the link for the workbook.

I promise I did NOT plan this!!!

We’re on Day 10 of The Journey of Practice and somehow…

Saturday: Sabbath. Stop.
Sunday: Rest. Honor your limits.

Right. On. The. Weekend.

We’ve been practicing making space for God, and this weekend it feels like God has made some space for us.

So take the gift.

And if you’re just finding us, you are NOT late. Start where you are.

Comment PRACTICE and I’ll send you everything you need to join us.

Semifinals. Game 2. 🏀✨

Grateful to serve as tonight’s Game Day Speaker for the Atlanta Dream as we take on the New York Liberty at State Farm Arena.

There’s something special about getting to pour into these women before they step onto the court.

Let’s go, Dream! 🏀🔥
