help Moxie get her surgery!!

asking people for money is something I never do but Moxie needs help.

We found out from her primary vet that her hips have never been fully developed and she needs hip replacement surgery for both hips.

I adopted Moxie back in October 2025 because I was lonely and wanted a companion. She is the most perfect dog I’ve ever met. She is playful, friendly with other dogs and humans, loves to cuddle, and even knew some basic training commands right from the start.

Fast forward to early-mid June 2026, she started limping occasionally on her left hind leg. She was brought to the emergency vet on June 19th because she was showing signs of severe pain. She had bloodwork and x-rays done. The ER vet said she has arthritis in her hips and left hind leg. On June 26th, Moxie was brought to her primary vet due to the pain not getting better. The primary vet took a look at the x-rays and found that her hips have never been fully developed even though she is two years old.

The surgery for her costs $14,000. I know that 14k is a lot of money for anyone to spend on a surgery but I don’t want her to be in pain more. I want her to be able to run, go on long walks, and go to daycare again.

If you unable to donate, please spread the word. And if you do donate, thank you for the bottom of my heart. No donation is too small!
