Copped some Contemporary Black Art in the heart of the City. Had to share bc I love the work and what it means to me (art by @ajuanmance 🔥👩🏾‍🎨🔥) plus the buy supports @drawbridge.youth.arts and free arts programs for underserved kids 🫶🏾I threw these up on the wall so quick 😂😂 shoutout to the gallery @art.ofsanfrancisco (lots of dope art by pros and local kids there) and @futures.us @therealbpatt for putting us all in the room to begin with! Building what I can and living my best. Started celebrating Juneteenth last weekend with the opening of Black Art Thriving: an art exhibition I curated to start showcasing Black artists living in The Bay 🌉🤟🏾Thanks to the artists for coming with heat, the team @salon.exp @intheblackshop for seeing this vision thru, and all y’all for supporting, pullin up, and reminding me that community makes anything possible.I have a talent for curating talent. This show was for the visual artists making beautiful work out West.
