Man, Master Sergeant, this is surreal, I’m still processing it and i wasn’t gonna post anything at first, but, with all the love I’ve been getting, i wanted to take some time to show love to the ones who had a huge role in getting me here.

To my mentors, thank you all for putting up with that hardheaded airman and sometimes disgruntled NCO, pushing him to his limits and to the point where he wasn’t just filling a role or holding duty titles, but being a leader.

To my family, thank you all for being that listening ear whether early in the morning, late at night, or during the day when i needed to cool off, thank you for always being there for me to vent to, give me a reminder of life outside this uniform, and remind me of why i continue to serve.

To my wife, Thank you for everything above, but also, thank you for your sacrifices, things haven’t always been easy, with multiple PCSs, early days, long nights, weekend plans cancelled, date nights shortened, and some days where i came home at like 5% battery, you were always a constant presence for me and there for me to help lift me up when i was down, words can’t express how much you mean to me and how much i appreciate your love and support but I’ll continue to try to give that back to you through my words and actions every day.

Last but definitely not least, to all of my Airmen, thank you all for the work you put in as well, if it wasn’t for y’all, i definitely wouldn’t have gotten here, even if someone is behind the wheel, a vehicle can’t move without the engine.” And i would not have been successful if it wasn’t for you all. As one of my mentors, CMSgt Anthony told me recently, “Iron sharpens Iron” and you all, through your actions, ambition, perseverance, initiative, innovation, and overall excellence in everything that you do, hasn’t just sharpened your skills, but, also, molded, shaped, and sharpened me as a leader.

Thank you to each and every individual who helped me reach this milestone in my career! I truly appreciate each and every one of you!

First full day back after a month long cut & recovery (Daniel Fast). I got down to the lowest weight I’ve seen since high school, 188, 59 pounds down from my heaviest recorded (247).

We both lost a lot of fat & a lot of muscle mass, but, we kept our strength, showed our faith to the most high, & now it’s time to build back better.

It’s amazing what a little consistency and dedication can do for you. 11 months difference between both pictures. I’m down to the lowest weight I’ve been at in 12 years & gained a good amount of muscle at the same time. I love what I’ve become but i’m definitely looking forward to what I will be.

Sometimes you really just have to slow down & appreciate the world around you, God’s blessed me & continues to bless me, i just have to make sure that i continue to thank him and show my appreciation. Don’t take anything for granted in this life, count your blessings and thank God for everything you have and everything you will receive.

I wanna take some time out to wish my dad a happy Father’s Day, to this day, I aspire to be as driven & as hard working as you are. I aspire to be the provider, the mentor, and the father you are. I aspire to be the man that you are. Thank you for always being in my life, thank you for always making sure we were taken care of, thank you for your leadership, thank you for everything you taught me, thank you for molding me into the man I am today. I wouldn’t be who I am without you dad! Love you pops & Happy Father’s Day!

I wanted to take some time out to wish my Day 1, the person who brought me into this world, the person who raised me, the person when even when she is going through adversity, still finds it in her heart to help others with a smile on her face, the person who brightens my morning every morning with a scripture, & the person that no matter what happens in this world, i can always depend on to be there for me when i need her a very happy Mother’s Day! Ma, i just wanna say i love you, I appreciate you & everything that you do, and no matter where i go, our hearts will always be connected. I love you Ma, Happy Mother’s Day!

From 247 down to 217. Definitely proud of myself for the progress i made so far but I’m not done. I got a goal to meet and I’m gonna keep putting in work until i meet & exceed that goal.
