Not going to lie, it’s been a hard week. And it’s Monday. But if you ate today, put clothes on, got your credit card out of a leather wallet, poured yourself a glass of wine, or countless other things… your life is touched by a farmer or rancher. Someone that stresses over things they can’t control. Someone that runs the numbers all of the time to see if it’s something they can continue to do. Someone who worries about the future generations of farmers and if we will be around to see the last family farm shut its doors. So, take a moment and thank a farmer. Attention Cochise County property owners and constituents:

I know this may spark debate. But I can’t not say something. The amount of people that I talk to that don’t know how much the “community college” is getting of our property taxes is insane. They are the 3rd highest percentage paid out and it is only 1.65% less than the county’s percentage. Does anyone else find this crazy? We don’t need to raise taxes. We don’t even really need to push for more industry like data centers and/or solar fields. We need a restructuring.

If I am missing something, I will be the first to admit I am wrong. But all of this information is pulled from my own property taxes. Look at yours, and see for yourself. by @itsmichell.east

And that goes for every “hat” you wear. You have never been this age before. Or a mother to kids that are the age your kids are. Or a wife or husband to your spouse at this point in time. Hi, I’m new here.

Just kidding. I’ve been here awhile. But this is new. And it oddly feels good. I have had an Instagram account for a LONG while now, feeling like I’m an OG, but I just felt stuck. I realized late last night that my old account has been with me through a lot of life. And, things change. People have come and gone, my dreams have ebbed and flowed, changed, and been discarded. So, I needed a fresh start. So, why not?

I will also be changing up some of my content, refraining from sharing my kids and focusing more on direct to camera content. Sharing my real life thoughts from my perspective, not a curated filming with me behind the camera. Sharing my kids on social media has been somewhat of a struggle for me, as so many people on my old page knew and know me on a personal level. But I always hesitated trying to grow on social media, in fear for my kids. So, therefore, I want to remove that fear.

I’m probably going to be bad at this. But it’s okay

Please follow along for some random motherhood, farm, sourdough, trying to get my health back, healing from the past, and following my husband around cause I love spending time with him.
