近況のご報告です。

私事ですが、1月に第2子を出産いたしました。

本来であれば、所属しているOpera Ballet Vlaanderen（旧ロイヤル・フランダース・バレエ）にて1月17日から始まったピナ・バウシュ作品『春の祭典』を踊り、その舞台をもって退団する予定でした。

しかし出産と重なり、公演に立つことなく退団となりました。

本当は、舞台を通して感謝の気持ちをお伝えしたかった。
それが叶わなかったため、ここでこうしてシェアさせていただきます。

私が舞台に立つ中で最も大切にしてきたのは、
感情を曝け出し、観客と呼吸を合わせ、自分の内側をそのまま渡すことでした。

2歳半から始めたバレエ。
これまでの人生のほとんどをバレエと共に歩み、
本当に多くのことを、多くの方々から学ばせていただきました。
感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。

近年は、その感謝をどうにか舞台の上からお返ししたいと、奮闘してきました。

今は、2歳半の子と7週間の子、そして夫と共に、
毎日

・体を通して
・呼吸を通して
・感情を通して

「生き方」をシェアしています。

舞台のライトはありませんが、
観客は三人、最前列にいます。

これからは、
生き方をバレエを通して伝えられる教師になることを目標に、一歩一歩進んでいきたいと思います。

これまで温かく見守り、応援してくださった皆さま、
本当にありがとうございました。
　
Life update 🤍

In January, I gave birth to our second child.

Originally, I was planning to retire from Opera Ballet Vlaanderen (formerly Royal Ballet of Flanders) after performing The Rite of Spring by Pina Bausch, which opened on January 17.
However, my due date overlapped with the production, and I stepped away from the company without having the chance to perform.

I had hoped to say thank you from the stage.
Since I couldn’t, I would like to share my gratitude here.

What I loved most about being on stage was to fully expose my emotions,
to breathe together with the audience,
and to offer my inner world as it is.

I started ballet at the age of two and a half.
Through ballet, I have learned almost everything about life, guided by so many generous and inspiring people.
I am deeply, deeply grateful.

In recent years, I had been searching for a way to return that gratitude from the stage.

Now, I share my life differently —
with my two-and-a-half-year-old,
my seven-week-old baby,
and my husband.

Every day, through
• my body
• my breath
• my emotions

I share a way of living.

There are no stage lights,
but I have three people in the front row.

From here on, I will take my next steps toward becoming a teacher who can share not only ballet, but a way of living through ballet.
