The Modern Art Peep Show’s first week made all my dreams come true: Mendsday with @gillianpearl, a painting for Leo with yours truly, the beautiful profundity (and doodles!) of @wastedpretty and a mini mart felt Party reunion by miss McFadden’s (@woodwinkss) middle school class from 2020.

Thank you so much for peeping and being peeped.

And watch out world, we have a powerhouse week of artists coming up! Come check it out:

The Analog Catalog

A simple concept: one large, important task broken up into a series of smaller tasks to be completed by audience members at the Lancaster Fringe Fest Variety Show.

Participants selected an envelope from one of the catalog’s drawers and were invited to complete an analog task written on the enclosed card.

Once completed, I asked them to answer a question and send the pre-stamped and addressed card back to me.

Each of the 75 tasks cards is a piece of a larger whole, a big banner containing one final collective task. As the cards return to me, I’ll start assembling them, back in (some kind of) order, in the window at Modern Art.

If you still have a task you’ve been waiting to complete, now’s the time- I’ll start putting them up next week. Come by Modern Art to see how it develops, and read what people had to say about their tasks.

Thank you to everyone who has sent them back, I’m continually delighted whenever the mail deliverer hands me a stack. Keep swiping to see —>
