CONVOS WITH THE DEAD 👻🎥 on @spotify @iheartradio @applemusic @amazonmusic

Wild guests. Ghosts. Aliens. Time travel. The afterlife. Parallel dimensions. Paranormal shit we probably shouldn’t poke at.

And whatever the fuck else makes it into the conversation.

There is no lane.
There is barely a road.

Just pull up a chair and see where the hell we end up. 💀🎙️

And another one! I grew up watching Y&R and have been lucky to create music for the show for years. But this time hits different. The artist I wrote this with just scored her first soap sync here. Watching that “first” unfold on a show this iconic is why I love what I do. Life is good. 🌹💃🏻♥️

🔉14 years ago this month, @shannyroc single BUSES & TRAINS hit radio.

…In 4th grade, I started manifesting my dream to sign a major record deal. I didn’t know how long it would take or what exactly a deal was, but I knew my life was destined to be extraordinary. 20 years later I was on a plane to NYC to meet with Avery & Monte Lipman to sign my deal. Deals don’t happen overnight, even when it looks that way. There are no shortcuts. There is no magic formula. At the end of the day, if you put in the work, REALLY put in the work, everything you’ve been manifesting since 4th grade can happen. I’m living proof and my life has been forever changed by that one YES. Stop comparing yourself to other artists and just focus on YOUR art. If you build it, they will come! 🚌+🚂=♥️

🏆2023 has been strong! I LOVE writing music, whether it’s for myself, other artists or for your favorite commercials, movies and TV shows. I want this strike to end so I can continue making music to tell your stories.💓✊🏼🪧

Unexpected career twist. 🤯

Years ago, I worked at Cooking.com, where @foodnetworkkitchen was a client. I was just trying to pay my bills, and manifest a future.

Fast forward…here we are. I’ve been writing music for their shows for over a decade, and every time I hear one of my songs on @thepioneerwoman, a tiny part of me still goes, “Wait…that’s MY music.”

If you’d told the younger me this was how the story would unfold, I would’ve asked what you were smoking. 💨 But also, I would’ve believed you, because I knew I was weird and gonna live an EXTRA-ordinary life. ✨

Life is strange, hilarious, and somehow way more creative than I am.

If you believe, it’s already yours. 🫶🏻

🎼 Songs I wrote 10+ years ago are still out here hustlin! 💃🏻 Just landed a nice little placement on this show. Crazy how the ones you almost forgot about sneak back around and remind you they’ve still got legs. 🦵🏻💕✨🏹

One year ago. Cold. Rainy. The kind of weather that wraps around you and says, make something that matters.☔️

@kizkeyz and @aviellamusic came over to write - no agenda, no plan. Just a feeling that we needed to be in the room together. ✍🏼

That day it was clear nothing about that session was random.
Not the timing.
Not the weather.
Not the way the song poured out of us like it was waiting for us to show up. 💜

When we finished it, none of us had to say it. I think deep down we all knew it. That song was meant for @aviellamusic and the 3 of us were meant to make it.
Together. 🪶

Some moments are written before you even get there. 💜
More to come! 🎶🎶🎶

Just found out one of my songs was featured in Renegades: The Bad Boys of NASCAR. 🏁

I don’t post these wins nearly enough. Most of the time I hear about them long after they’ve aired, and then I get to experience the placement like everyone else. 🏎️💨

That’s one of my favorite parts of writing for film and TV. You never know when a song you wrote years ago is going to find the perfect scene.

Another song. Another story. Another reminder that good songs always find their way home. ❤️
