This has been the most blessed birthday I’ve had in my time in LA. I’m so thankful for my community that I’ve built and friends and family. Personally- creatively it’s been the best and I hope it continues!! - Thank you all for the kind messages. Thank you to @yeraha for organizing such a wonderful day and making sure I’m celebrated. You’re truly the MVP. Look after your people taken in Los Angeles, California by @itsmphatso

This is where it started.

No stunt team. No weeks of prep.
Just a conversation, a plan… and a decision to go for it.

One day of training. That’s it.

Everything you’re about to see came from this moment.

Behind the scenes with @itsmphatso as The Burglar—watching, listening, absorbing everything happening on set. Locked in. Patient. Dangerous in the quiet way.

Mphatso doesn’t just show up, he studies the moment. Every beat matters. Every detail counts. That level of focus? That’s craft. That’s respect for the work. That’s the kind of energy that lifts an entire production without ever asking for the spotlight.

A team couldn’t ask for more, and a story couldn’t ask for a better presence lurking just outside the frame.

Words cannot express how I feel right now. My heart is aching knowing that one of the kindest people I know is no longer with us. My Cousin Dumiso this life is unfair…I now fully believe it because you were a gentle person who would never hurt anybody. Yet it’s you who is no longer here. It pains me I cannot have been with you. I’ll never forget our childhood. From watching power rangers. To dragon ball Z. To playing FIFA! The Christmas we’ve spent.
without you there is no me loving football/Soccer. I’ll never forget you teaching me about football manager back in the day- funny enough ive ended up being a coach.

I was blessed enough to see you last year and left beaming as you all got to meet Yera. The sad part that was the last time I would see you. I have the memory of us going our separate ways with a warm feeling in my heart and to know that’s the last memory I’ll have of you is bittersweet. I’ll do my best to support your mother and brothers. But for now enjoy the time with your dad. Until we meet again

On screen this scene is full of tension. Off screen it was all smiles, teamwork, and the support of local businesses who opened their doors and resonated with our story.

Filming in this alleyway became a reminder that community can turn even the most intense shoot days into something joyful.
