Today we said goodbye to you.

There are no words that could ever fully grasp the pain and grief of losing you.

Some days I still catch myself wanting to tell you something. And every time it breaks my heart knowing I won’t hear your voice again.

I wish you could have seen yourself through my eyes. The kindness you showed, the love you gave, and the impact you had on anyone lucky enough to know you. I wish you could have seen how much you mattered, how much you were appreciated, and how deeply you were loved.

Thank you for coming into my life when I needed it the least. For holding my hand when I needed it the most. And for making me feel safe, cared for, and loved in ways only you could.

I will carry you with me always.
