IT’S A ✨ MOMENT ✨

As you may of seen, we’ve had quite the fortnight of installations & deliveries that have led to this moment!
This moment of feeling that everything is “coming togetherness” that at times, and in other rooms, is hard to see & trust will come about. But here it is, and it truly feels like if the walls could speak they’d be telling us to keep grafting - as soon enough, all of our spaces could feel like this one does now & THAT is priceless 💫

A long overdue reintroduction 👋

2 years, 1 house but A LOT of change, both in our renovation and personal lives - so here it is, a little introduction for if you’re new here or an update for those OG’s that are likely just as out the loop!

Our 2025 was such a huge year, and we couldn’t of foreseen that 2026 was going to rival it as strongly as it’s going to, but hopefully you’re here for ride with us now 😅

Has your journey also given you whiplash? Or has yours been smooth sailing so far?

Oh how I’ve missed deliberating samples!

It’s with regret that our current sofa isn’t quite holding up how we’d of hoped, BUT it does mean we get to sofa shop - which definitely isn’t as unfortunate, especially as we might go a little bolder with our colour choice this time…

Our unfinished paradise 🫧

It’s been an utter blessing having a space like this to call our own, especially in these first months of parenthood - a rather big slice of bliss, and more importantly a space we’re making memories in, from our little ones the first sink wash in the DIY double vanity to increasingly more playful bath times in the swimming pool like tub 🛁

It may be unfinished, but we have pride in knowing that it’s ours & we love it (as does Rudy)

Our little arrival ☁️

Whilst considered “late” at 41 weeks and 3 days, this little one naturally arrived on his own accord and without haste on the 7th of July at 11:25pm. As a true cancer star sign, he came into this world in water with Purple Rain playing (so hopefully he’ll be a water lover). Weighing in at 7lb 8.5oz, with a full lb of that being hair - he’s everything we could have dreamed of and more!

This is Rudy 🤍

We’re in our blissful baby bubble, so won’t be sharing much but know that we are all well, truly obsessed and soaking in every second! Also, how has a week passed already?

How your email finds me 💌🫧

Call it a feminine urge, romanising life or just simply escaping a heatwave at 40 weeks pregnant - there’s not much that could top the decision to run a cool bath at the hottest point of the day and with THE crispiest diet coke (in a wine glass for class… just kidding, no other glasses were clean)

Maybe this is the oxytocin spike I need… we’ll see 🤭

Our bathroom reveal 🫒

We cannot quite believe that this space is actually ours! It’s been a long time coming, with it being almost 4 months since the rip out and having lived with the prior set-up for 2 years…

It’s only about 75% complete, but it’s going to be like this for quite some time so thought we’d finally share it 🥹

We’re waiting ☁️

The time has come where we officially feel as ready as we’re going to feel for little one to make an arrival - especially when we spot the nursery quite literally glowing like this, feels like an invitation right?

Less than a week until due date now, so let’s hear your advice, stories, due dates vs birth date ⤵️

Come on in ♠️

Swipe through for some of the befores of this space…

AND, spot the tape on the walls where we mapped out our hopes for the knock through, the £55 FBMP bargain fireplace and surround duo pre-tlc and the unit that we’ve now transformed into our double vanity - what a throwback, so proud of the vision we were bold enough to have 2+ years ago!

Due to this room resembling a storage unit most of 2026 so far, we’ve not had chance to really remember how much we adore it - but now, it’s not only ready for us to enjoy, it’s ready for our little one (when he arrives) 🥹

What do you think? The black was daring, but it paid off right?!
