Hammer V6 King Ravine - Jake Perry First Ascent

This little trip to explore “Chaos Canyon at home” was overwhelming to say the least. Quickly realizing there were just too many good lines to choose from we had to “put the hammer down” and settle on one thing to actually climb. We picked just the right one for the day, and even with the setting aside, I think it would be a classic anywhere. by @itsperryyy

PIcture of Perry from a mini shoot we did during the last couple days of the vertical dreams Nashua location. I love how this picture and other pictures that I got that day came out. Thank you to perry and other people I got a couple pictures of that day. Vertical dreams still has a Manchester location and is the most afordable climbing gym in the area and has staff that are not only experienced but make you feel comfortable at the gym no matter what your experience level is. I highly recommend them weather your an experinced cloimber or someone looking to try climbing for the 1st time.

Here's a fun v3 from an old set I made @verticaldreams

Been enjoying setting and climbing inside more lately. I have probably climbed inside more in the last year than from all of 2021-2025 😅
It feels good to get that strength pull back that you can kind of only get from climbing in the gym.

I gotta finish off those damn 2016 v4 benchmarks this summer 💀 So much harder than v10 outside 🤪🤣

Odin | First Ascent | 5/27/26

I finally sent my longest term sport project ever! Almost six years after the first time I tied into this line, I tied in for one last time and fought to the top in subpar conditions!

This is one is really special. My dear friend the late @ben_climber bolted this ground up in 2020 not too long after discovering the cliff. I remember watching him bolt it, it was one of the first lines on the cliff. It was the first time I had seen someone bolt ever! We all tried it and no one made it past the second bolt. We knew it be hard. Ben said it would be a 5.13d and it is crazy how he could be that accurate back then.

Those first couple years at Valkyrie Wall there was many sessions that I would play around on this after being pestered by Ben. Some days it was the only thing dry at the crag. One day in particular it was actively downpouring yet this was staying dry. Another day was the middle of winter trying the first boulder in 15⁰ weather!

Over the years I believe I have spent 25- 30 sessions on this rig, and at this point I think I have done all the moves individually at least 30 times each. When it all comes together the movement on this flows you into a dance unlike any other climb I have done. Perhaps the finest bit of climbing I have ever done.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported me, given a belay, came to hang out, or listened to me spray about this route over the last six years especially @mainecarrot and @bowker_tom . Thanks to @frankylapitino for the send belay and video!

I dedicate this send to Ben Yonker. I miss you almost everyday homie. I climbed it with his ashes in a pocket of my chalkbag, and I spread them on top after sending. Before pulling on I said "This one's for you Ben." It was meant to be.

Tell your friends you love them when you end your phone calls or say goodbye!

Blue V8 👍

If my memory serves right this is my first indoor V8 since 2019! (Maybe even 2018?) 😮😁 My last one was purple cubes on the 45 at Evo Concord. I think i have only ever done five indoor v8s despite having done like 20 outside 😅 It was a great boulder I had to battle if for an hour or so. I had one burn where I fell off the last move!

Had an excellent gym session today. I was there about 6 hours and ended up with around 100 vpoints! Gotta love going to different gyms amd having it all be fresh sets. Some of my favorite sessions are big volume on all new (to me) sets. It feels like climber Disneyworld lol

It was great fun climbing with my friends @andrew.orde and Dana! 😊

Leave It To Beaver V8 🦫
November 24th 2025

Another decade plus long journey at Pway comes to a close. Warmed up, repeated the top out, then managed to fire it first go of the day! Couldn't be happier. One of the best climbs around for sure.

Later in the day I repeated Terrorist V6 first go. Terrorist was my very first V6 back in Oct 3 2015 and I hadnt tried it since then! To repeat first try having not pulled on in a decade was mind blowing! 🤯A really cool moment.

I carried the momentum into the Chasm area and managed OreChasm V7 pretty late in the night! One of my best Pway sessions for sure!

Gone In 60 Seconds V8+

Got out last night before the snow storm and managed to send this hardbody classic. I have more or less tried this boulder every time I have been in the zoo for the last decade. Feels nice to finally have it go from feeling impossible (I had never done the third move til last week) to sending!

First go of the night I fell after the third move, then i got a zero friction 2nd burn. Just before pulling on for the third time @jarvisclimbs showed up bringing the hype and it went down! This thing is on you til the end, getting that foot up and the final lockoff are HARD, you have just gotta believe.

After I went and took down yet another 10year nemesis, She Gave Me Mono V7! I also had a great first session on Halcyon V11 and repeated Terrorist V6! An awesome session to mark the closing of the gate.
