Can sim racers make the switch and thrive on track? 🏎️

Genevieve Ooi’s racing career is proof that they can.

As a standout in Toyota’s Young Talent Development Programme, and learning from Malaysia’s first and only F1 driver, @alexyoongf1, @genevieveooi_ shares what it’s like to navigate paddock skepticism, balance esports with physical racing, and chase her ultimate goal: being known simply as the fastest driver on the grid.

"I’m super fortunate to have that and now be so ingrained with a Formula E team and have such a great relationship with Nissan."

@abbipulling is having a massive year in single-seaters, but her work behind the scenes with @nismo is quietly setting the stage for what comes next.

We caught up with Abbi at the Season 12 Finale in London to talk about her role as a rookie and simulator driver. From translating her time in the electric series back to her raw GB3 racecraft, to her standout moments in the car this year, she gave us a great look into her dual-track life.

What does it really take to be a race engineer in F1 ACADEMY? 🏎️

For Eimear O’Connor, it’s about far more than data. It’s about knowing when to trust the telemetry, when to trust your instincts and, most importantly, when to trust the driver.

Now in her third season as a @prema_team Race Engineer, Eimear shares what happens behind the scenes of an @f1academy weekend, the importance of building genuine relationships with drivers, and why the pathway beyond F1 ACADEMY still needs work.

We sat down with her in Zandvoort to find out what it really takes to find that final tenth. 🏁

Brands and celebrities: Stop sexualising women in sport!!!

Images like the ones portrayed in the Sydney Sweeney and Novig's ad are very damaging to women in sport and to young girls. Do better!!!

Women have come a long way and have been fighting for too long to have to deal with this all over again.

Share this post and any other you come across in this topic so we get more views on this trend than the ad itself.

Summer break is over! Formula 1 and F1 ACADEMY are back on track this weekend in Zandvoort 🎉

The 2026 Dutch Grand Prix runs 21–23 August, and it's the last one. Five years of Formula 1 and F1 ACADEMY history at Zandvoort close out this weekend, making this a genuine farewell.

First time in Amsterdam or Zandvoort? We've got you covered.

To get a real sense of the weekend, on and off track, we spoke to @smileyreillly and @chelseyemm.a

Reilly founded @gr1dgirlsclub, which organises group trips for women to attend Grand Prix around the world. She's bringing eleven women to Zandvoort for her second consecutive Dutch GP trip.

Chelsey is a local motorsport content creator and founder of @herracingclub, an international community for women who love F1 and motorsport. She knows Amsterdam and Zandvoort inside out.

When you picture a Grand Prix weekend, the first thing that probably comes to mind is the glamour of it.
But, behind the curtains, it looks like something else entirely.

There’s a reason Formula 1 has been called “the big circus” for decades. It’s a travelling sport, a small city that gets built, run, and taken apart in the same four days, over and over, on five continents. F1 ACADEMY runs on the same logic, just at a very different scale.

For Round 3 of the F1 ACADEMY calendar, the all-women series landed in Silverstone for the first time in a very busy weekend as they squeezed their sessions between Formula 1, Formula 2, and Formula 3.

With so much happening at once, and it being the series’ first time on this circuit, we wondered what it takes for a weekend like this to run smoothly. So we headed to the F1 ACADEMY paddock and asked the ones who make it happen.
