People often ask me why I chose boxing.

The truth is… I didn’t.
Boxing chose me.

It wasn’t a hobby. It wasn’t a dream inspired by someone else. I had no background in sports, and no one around me boxed.

Yet something inside me refused to stay silent.

It felt like a voice I couldn’t escape. A whisper that grew louder every day. My mind was filled with images I couldn’t explain, and my heart carried a certainty that something greater was waiting for me… even though I had no idea what it was.

Before I ever stepped into a boxing gym, a part of me already knew…

This is where I belong.

Today, I know where my heart is leading me.

I may not know exactly how I’ll get there, but I know Who is guiding my path.

So I surrender my plans to God, show up every single day, and do my work with sincerity. The outcome has never been in my hands.

And honestly… I’m at peace with whatever Allah chooses for me, because His plan has always been better than mine.

﴿وَمَا رَمَيْتَ إِذْ رَمَيْتَ وَلَٰكِنَّ اللَّهَ رَمَى﴾

“You did not throw when you threw, but it was Allah who threw.” — Qur’an 8:17

If you’ve ever felt a calling that made no logical sense… don’t ignore it.

Sometimes, the path chooses you before you ever choose it.

My purpose in life is not just to become a World Champion. My purpose is God, and boxing is simply the vessel He uses to reveal Himself through me.
When I step into the ring, I don’t fight alone. I fight with Him, for Him, and through Him. It’s not just my strength, my will, or my hands at work; it’s His presence guiding me.
A wise man once told me, ‘Throw every punch as if it’s God throwing it, not you.’ And I’ve come to understand what those words truly mean.
I’ve already seen it. I don’t need to dream about it anymore. I believe in what God has placed in my heart, and I know it’s only a matter of time.
My job is to show up, work hard, stay disciplined, and give everything I have. The rest is in His hands.
You may see me struggle, but you will never see me surrender. The journey is His, the purpose is His, and the glory will always be His.
I do my part. God will take care of the rest. by @itsrumi2.0

We spend so much time fighting external battles, not realizing that the heaviest weight we carry is what we refuse to let go of inside.

Gravity isn’t just physical—resentment, grudges, and judgment drag the soul down long before the body ever feels it.

Read that story twice.

She’s not really nagging about the garbage...”

As a wise woman told me once, a woman’s friction is often just a call for you to reclaim your leadership and stick to your word.

People see the raised hand.

They don’t see the early mornings, the pain, the doubt, the prayers, or the nights I wondered if I was enough.

Every step of this journey reminded me that real strength doesn’t come from muscles—it comes from trusting God.

“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”
— Isaiah 40:31
