Jesus! I don’t even know where to begin. I remember as a little girl playing with Barbie dolls and making them get married and start a family thinking it was so beautiful and fun! Now here I am, 20 years old, getting married to the coolest person I know. The 7 year old version of myself would be so excited for this moment. At that time my idea of marriage was much different than it is now. I understand now that marriage is beautiful and fun but it’s a ministry as well and I’m so excited to begin that with you @jamil_mccarthy37.
First, I want to honor my soon to be husband. Thank you for seeing my best and worst and still choosing me regardless. We have gone through some tough moments where we didn’t know what would happen next but God has sustained us and we are closer than we’ve ever been before. Thank you for showing me true love,holding my hand when I feel too weak to get out the bed and all I could do is cry,for speaking life into me,reminding me who God says I am when doubt comes in,and for reminding me of the truth when the enemy whispers lies. Thank you for having faith in me and in us and most of all in God and leaning on him for guidance and being an amazing leader! You are so hardworking and strong willed and I admire your ambition baby. I’m so happy to spend the rest of my life pouring into you and being the best helpmate possible. Thank you for being so kind and gentle and loving not just to me but for being a light to everyone you encounter. You inspire me and push me to be a better person and I couldn’t do this with anyone else but you. I love you to the firmament and back big head❤️.Next, I want to honor Breanna, my maid of honor! You have been my rock girl! Thank you for honoring me and being soooo supportive! I love you beyond words and we are sisters for life blood couldn’t make us any closer! And to everyone who showed up and out for my bridal shower I love and appreciate every last one of you! Thank you all so much! I feel so loved by you guys! GLORYYYY BE TO GOD! This year I got to worship alongside my loved ones and other followers of Christ coming into the New Year. I would not have rather spent my birthday/New Year any other way! ENC conference was such a blessing to my life and such a pivotal point in my walk with Christ. The fresh wave of revelation that fell upon me each day of the conference is mind blowing. This trip provided confirmation and clarity more than I expected. I’m so grateful to the people that gave God their yes so I could have this experience. I’m so excited for 2027🙂💕!!!!
