Scar Grace is Isaiah 61:3...I should be dead or have a major disability but by the grace, none of those are associated with me... It's not luck or of my own doing, it's all God. A little background on the name scar grace for those who don't know....i was involved in a car accident when I was five...I got hit by a van and run over by it ... it left me with a little crack in my head... I've had my stomach cut open, I've had several operations... but before that...i went to travel to 3 different hospitals in my pastors car, before being operated on... with the first two saying they couldn't help me out... and even then when I got operated on time was lost traveling to the other hospitals, a lot of blood lost...but years later all I'm left with are scars to remind of what God has done, his grace. I hope to show that Christ can turn any bad situation into a beautiful one, just give him your ashes and he will give you something beautiful in return. I used to hate my scars but now I love them, because it reminds me of God's grace. There's so much I want to do, and a lot of things I still need to learn, but for now I hope you can see God's beauty through my music. #testimony #scargrace by @itsscargrace

I started writing this in 2021 but left it and got back to it this year after events in 2025... honestly speaking, it was not my favorite year.

I wanted to be a little bit transparent on my walk with God as a believer and share some of my conversations with him. I wanted to show the other side of the faith. It's not always sunny days, a picture that seems to be painted about giving your life to Christ. There's confusion at times, there are times when God is silent, and at times life gets heavy.

I want to encourage believers going through a rough patch and say, you are not alone, and I want to reach out to people who have left the faith wrestling with similar thoughts. You are not the first to have these feelings, and you won't be the last either.

Reading Psalms, I see how David was honest with God about his feelings, and they weren't always good, but God called him a man after his own heart 🤔.

I see Jesus teach, "When we pray, say, 'Our Father who art in heaven.'" We can have that relationship like Father and child with God. He is not a dictator but loving, understanding, and compassionate. He knows our thoughts, our hearts, so why fake it? Be real with him.

I end the song on Psalm 27, where David encourages us to wait on God. In this chapter, he isn't in a good place either, but he has had a revelation of who God is that keeps him grounded. He has seen God come through in the past, and most importantly, he hasn't forgotten what God did for him, unlike the Israelites, who often did.

Despite going through a rough patch, he couldn't see himself anywhere apart from God. He says, "I desire to dwell in the house of the Lord forever, gazing at the beauty of God and seeking him." At the end of his life, God was faithful; he died a happy man. It's not about waiting for a change in circumstance but waiting on God.

Today marks the 30th time I've seen January 25 in my lifetime. It's been a bumpy journey, ups and down, but ain't no growth if it's all good... I'm grateful to God, who has always been there... I'm still here only by his grace. I've really known him to be faithful and my favourite name of his is El Roi, he really sees and not only that, he loves in action.

I'm grateful for all the people who in way of another have contributed to my life in one way or another, even with the smallest gestures, they are really big in my eyes, I really value them. Thank you 🙏🏾

I've decided to mark this day by releasing my first track of the year, Grateful, just to say "God above, I'm grateful". Link in my bio.

A couple weeks ago, I took a step out of my comfort zone and said yes to act in a play, called Home Run at Imprint church. For those who know I had a bad stutter growing up, (if you don't know, I thank God) I've got a lot of bad memories over it and I'd never forgotten how it made me feel and the reaction of others, as result I tried to avoid putting myself in situations where I'd have to talk a lot in front of people, especially in front of people I did not know too well. Over the years God has been helping me break out that fear, building the audience I speak to little by little. This was by far the biggest of them all, taking on a role where I had to talk a lot in front of a lot people, and doing it twice in a day was something I'd dread doing, but found myself doing it and glad I did.

I was encouraged by the response to my role and surprised myself in doing so, not stuttering once. From the testimonies I heard regarding the day, not just the play, but the word preached, the worship, and the day in general, it was an honour to be part of a wonderful event.

This taught me two things. To stop living in the past and the importance of community. I voiced my fears to the writers over phone before and they encouraged and helped, adviced and remininded me that I wasn't doing this for people but for God's glory. My co - actors, who were amazing, also helped greatly, I couldn't have done it without them.

I hope this is an encouragement to others, who find themselves in similar situations, take that leap of faith. God is so good, he's so faithful!
