I finished my first coat!! 🙌🏼 While having made some blazers in the past, I wasn’t brave enough to tackle ‚the big project‘ - until now.For Christmas I asked for the Hunter Coat pattern by @fibremood and this stunning wool/poly-mix fabric from @fabricgodmother. The two went very well together, I think. This competition couldn’t be timed better for me because I just finished it. 🙏🏼 It is the #vikisews_fernanda blazer by @vikisews.The blazer was a true labor of love. First (big) knitting project done since @jen.la.tete.knits convinced me to pick up the needles again. 🧶 It’s the #LyonSweater by @petiteknit in Sunday by @sandnesgarn held double.I‘ve never knitted a sweater or cardigan in one piece before and it was so much easier than I expected. And honestly, I prefer the outcome. I guess this‘ll be a wardrobe staple for many years to come - I love me a good stripe. 😁#knitterofinstagram #sandnessunday #knittagram by @itssewtanschi

So long, London.I know it’s been very quiet on my Insta and YouTube accounts lately. And I think that’s just due to me entering a new phase in my life. I‘m currently planning my wedding/elopement later this year, taking on a new role at work, doing some further education for that and juggling all the struggles that come with the above.Sewing has definitely had a place in all that, but I took it slower - and started knitting again. The trip to London (with my dad!) was the most lovely reminder of how important it is to sometimes leave daily life behind and escape to a happy place.I hope everyone else is well and had a lovely time at the Stitch Festival if you went. 🫶🏼 I‘ll try to post a little update-video on YouTube soon.Love, Tanja by @itssewtanschi
