The cake redemption nobody asked for... but Paul and Nigella, I’d still like your feedback. 👀😂🍰

So… you might have seen a familiar face pop up on your screens recently 👀💗

And yes — it’s true. I’m officially one of the bakers on The Great British Bake Off Season 17!!!!

I’m going to be honest, I’m overwhelmed with emotions writing this. Pure happiness. Pride. And I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t freaking out while typing every word. I’ve been keeping this secret for so long, and now I finally get to scream it from the rooftops.

What makes this moment even more special is knowing I wouldn’t be here without my husband. He’s the one who sent me the application and gently nudged me to go for it. I applied because he believed in me long before I believed in myself, and now here we are… in the tent.

This whole journey has been the best experience of my life, filled with mental emotions, constant pinch‑me moments, and memories I’ll treasure forever. I baked my heart out, laughed until my stomach hurt, cried happy tears, and made friendships that feel like family. I’m so happy and proud to be a part of the Bake Off family. Truly.

I’m so excited to watch the episodes and relive it all over again. I feel incredibly grateful to have been a part of something so special.Let the chaos, the crumbs, and the cake‑based emotions begin 🍰✨

Proof that if you hang around the dessert table long enough, good things happen. 🍰😂 What a surreal moment standing alongside this lot on Second Helpings and having a proper catch-up about all things Bake Off!
