ending our China trip exactly how I wanted to 🤍

slow mornings, wine, massages, good food, pretty corners of the hotel and basically doing as little as possible at @sixsensesqingchengmountain

such a calm little ending to a very full trip… and honestly the perfect place to switch off before heading home.

staying at @sixsensesqingchengmountain was so peaceful, so much space and exactly the kind of place you want to disappear into for a few days.

the room alone made it very hard to leave.

our last few days in Chengdu were basically dedicated to shopping, so here’s a little appreciation post for our home in between it all 🤍

we stayed at @jwmarriotthotels Chengdu and honestly loved it - our suite was so spacious, had everything we needed and the executive lounge access ended up being such a bonus… especially when it casually sorted dinner for us a few nights 😂

the team looked after us so well from start to finish, and a special thank you to Cherry who was incredible and genuinely helped with everything we needed.

such a lovely place to end our Chengdu stay 🐼🇨🇳

Qingcheng Mountain day 1 ⛰️🇨🇳

decided to hike all the way up which sounded like a great idea at the time… until we realised it was basically just MILLIONS of steps and not the scenic little mountain walk I had imagined 😂

the view from the top was beautiful though, and we did get some very cute pictures with Kiki along the way, so I’ll take that as a win.

would I do it again? absolutely not. take the cable car 😂

Chengdu day 4 🐼🇨🇳

started at Wenshu Monastery, squeezed in some shopping, found the cutest mahjong-inspired dessert, spotted yet more pandas at Taikoo Li and finished the day with dinner at the Michelin-starred restaurant at Upper House ✨

meanwhile Kiki slept through dinner in the pram like the seasoned little traveller she is 😂🤍

a very good Chengdu day.
