You aren’t going to live forever babe… so stop wasting your days away as if you are. You want to start singing? Do it. You want to start painting? Do it. You want to write a book? Do it. You want to learn to DJ? Do it. You want to write a screenplay? Do it. Whatever that thing is that you’re being called to do- don’t wait another second, minute, hour daydreaming about it. Take action to start bringing that into your reality TODAY. And when you’re ready to have accountability- I got you- because I’ve been you. I waited YEARS to start my music career and then let one asshole set me back 2 years (and now we are back baby!) I waited a year to quit real estate and start my coaching business & podcast (and I wish I would’ve done it sooner!) I waited years before hiring my first mentor (def should’ve don’t this sooner 😅) Don’t wait your life away- we get one. Make it your fucking dream. You deserve it. miss mae, maegel bagel, maegel berry butter bean 🫘 it’s hard to believe you were only in my life for 2 months because i’m pretty sure you were my soul dog 🤍 i never had to teach you how to love even though you were abused & discarded by people before us. you loved so deeply and clearly everyone you met. you didn’t know a stranger. you taught me what forgiveness & love looks like straight through the eyes of God. i hope you learned what it felt to be loved deeply by sawyer & i. you really have been one of the best parts of this year. you made the past couple of months during my pregnancy so much easier to get through & i pray i made your last days easier as well. there will always be a mae sized paw print on my heart. love you babygirl, go rest and play and be free 🪽🐾 by @itssidneyblair

soaking in the last weeks of it being just you & me baby boy 🫶🏼 mommy & daddy cannot wait to meet you.. to study every curve of your face, the way you smile, to hear your laugh for the first time & feel your tiny hand wrapped around mine. even those little feet that have been kicking me. i already love you so much, i can’t imagine how it will feel to look you in the eyes and hold you against my chest. i always thought i knew what love was & my mom always told me she loved me more… meeting you i’ll finally be able to understand the love that my mother has for me. keep growing strong inside of me baby, i’ll see you soon🥹 📸 @five.twentyone.photography by @itssidneyblair

💔 an update on our sweet Miss Mae this is one of the hardest things we’ve had to share. over the past week, Miss Mae started getting weaker. her energy was declining, she wasn’t moving around as easily, & she no longer wanted to use the stairs. so yesterday, we took her back to the vet. unfortunately, the fluid buildup from her heart failure has continued to progress. she is already at the highest doses of her medications & is still uncomfortable. our vet let us know that a respiratory emergency could happen very suddenly. we never want Miss Mae’s last moments to be filled with fear or distress, so we made the incredibly difficult decision to say goodbye next Friday 🤍 our hearts are broken but we’re focusing on what a gift it is that we get to choose how her story ends. we get one more week to make her feel incredibly loved. next Friday, we’re taking her to the Downtown Mall for her very last adventure. she LOVES people & treats so we want her final day to be filled with sunshine, yummy things, belly rubs, & as much love as possible. if you’re local & would like to come say goodbye, we’d love to have you there. we’ll share more details soon 🥺 a huge thank you to our incredible vet team at Mill Creek Veterinary Clinic for the care, compassion, & honesty they’ve shown Miss Mae & our family 🤍 and to everyone who has donated, shared her story, or loved this girl from afar: thank you. you helped us give her a home where she was deeply, completely, unconditionally loved. we only got a couple of months with her, but they were some of the most meaningful months of our lives 🤍 we’re still raising funds for Miss Mae’s end-of-life care & remaining medical expenses. A few days ago, Miss Mae was just another dog waiting in a shelter. Today… She has a favorite spot on the couch. She sticks her head out the car window with the biggest smile. She carries her favorite bone around everywhere she goes. She’s gotten belly rubs, naps, and more love than she probably knows what to do with. She’s had movie nights with family, cuddled up on the couch, and slept peacefully in a home where she’s safe. And my favorite part? Watching her slowly realize that this isn’t just a visit. She belongs. People often ask why we’re so passionate about senior and hospice dogs. This is why. Every dog deserves to know what it’s like to be loved, no matter how much time they have left. Whether they have years, months, or only days, every single one deserves soft beds, gentle hands, full bellies, and a family who sees their worth. Miss Mae is reminding us that home isn’t measured by time, it’s measured by love. Thank you for following her journey. Your encouragement, kind words, and support mean more than you know, and they’re helping us build something bigger than one dog.
