@shiftchangedtla My love for downtown Los Angeles is ever growing. Far from perfect, there are many issues where people “look the other way”, “put on the back shelf” or “sweep under the rug”. I want to do everything I can to work with this team from all over DTLA, and the greater area, to make this a more appealing destination again. It's heartbreaking hearing the experiences from tourists and folks who travel here for work from all over the world and book their hotel stays in the heart of Los Angeles. Then to their surprise, they find themselves expressing their disappointment and concern for the condition of the streets and surrounding areas. As someone who takes the metro to get around, I see the good, bad and ugly. Losing my co-worker, Johnny Wactor, minutes after parting ways on a Friday night at 3 am, as he walked to his parked car in a poorly lit street, shouldn't be something anyone should go through ever; getting off of work or simply leaving an event or restaurant. taken in DTLA by @itssonic90

Got to spend Thanksgiving this year in these 2 incredible cities. Old Town Takayama. And Shirakawa-go, a Unesco world heritage site.
