Two years ago, I experienced an Ectopic Pregnancy. Before that happened, I always thought about not having a child because I believed it would be too hard and that I wouldn’t be able to handle it. But when I went through that loss, I realized that losing is even harder. The pain never truly goes away. I still cry, and I still can’t believe what happened. It hurts every time someone asks about it, and it’s so hard to talk about. No matter how much time passes, it still feels heavy, and I struggle to find the right words. Some wounds never truly heal. Maybe people think I’m okay with what happened, but I’m not. Every day, I carry that weight with me, even if I don’t always show it. After going through that nightmare, I decided to consult a psychiatrist because I felt hopeless and exhausted both physically and mentally. Even when I took too many vacations, thinking they might bring me happiness, it never felt genuine. I often questioned my purpose in life, to the point where I even thought about giving up. That's when I was diagnosed with panic disorder and depression. But I pray and thank God because He always leads me to the right path. Through this, I’ve learned that prayer truly works. That chapter of my life was heartbreaking, but I survived. Maybe this is God’s lesson for me, to learn, to grow, and to understand things in a different way. And today, I can say that I may not be fully healed, but I choose to be happy and embrace what life has given me 🤍 To my unborn child, I may not have met you, but I think about you and miss you every day. You are my favorite “what if,” the little soul I always wonder about, the love I will always carry with me. I imagine you all the time, what you would have been like, how it would have felt to hold you, to hear your voice, to watch you grow. No matter where life takes me, you will always be in my heart. I will always remember you. I love you forever 👼 by @itsssamiraquel
