Spring is here which means our favorite garden is open.

🫜 Garden Grooves is back! 🫜

Continuing our programming from last year, you can expect a little bit of hanging out, a little bit of dancing, some art and some healing with the plants.

This year we’ll have a new surprise guest each month. This month’s surprise guest is @djalicoleman , a nightlife advocate who has DJ’ed at legendary clubs like Cielo, Shelter, and Limelight with the likes of Francois K, Danny Krivit, and Frankie Bones among so many others. Most importantly, as part of the House Coalition, he played a key role in overturning the NYC Cabaret Law.

📅 Saturday, May 2nd
🕜 3pm - 7pm
📍 Whole Neighborhood Community Garden
💸 Completely Free! RSVP via linkinbio

As always, @inurbckyrd , @kristenmlondon_dj , and @itsszobi will be there to round out the vibes. We’ll have arts and light refreshments, but always feel free to bring your own!

Indie Agenda was an absolute vibe. I probably played my favorite music so and felt the most comfortable. It often takes 20-30 minutes to really really get into it, but not this time: it just felt good from the start. It was an honor to play with such a talented group and huge thanks to @therpgcollective and @wethedistrictapple for having me - you have something great going on in DC. Very rough bus ride back, but it was all worth it. Met so many great people, looking forward to being back.

Uploaded the recording too: all indie with bouncy bass lines, fun percs, lots of synths, piano and choirs. Link in bio! by @itsszobi
