Midterms are over… SUMMER RECAP! ☀️🌊

Not sure how I managed to fit all of this into one summer, but it was definitely a good one. From visiting theme parks and watching the World Cup to creating content and trying out for Team USA, there was always something going on.

Some summer highlights:
- 1.7M+ content views and 2,000+ new followers
- 10+ theme parks visited and 200+ coaster credits
- Watched the World Cup in NYC and Atlanta
- Tried out for Team USA Bobsled & Skeleton
- Invited to Carowinds Media Day
- Met Guy Fieri
- Traveled across multiple states
- Explored my new hometown
- Made new connections and a ton of memories

And that’s not even everything.

Between traveling, theme parks, content creation, sports, and everything else, this summer went by FAST. Definitely one for the books!

GET OUT OF YOUR DORM! 🐏 🩵

There is so much to see and do around UNC, so don’t spend all your free time sitting in your dorm! Go explore campus, find a new spot, try something different, and just get out there.

TEA @ UNC at Carowinds Media Day 💦 🐏

This week, leaders of TEA @ UNC had the opportunity to attend Carowinds’ Media Day for the announcement of Rip Roarin’ Falls, a record-breaking new attraction set to open in 2027!

Media Days provide a firsthand look at how major attractions are developed and introduced to the public, bringing together park leadership, creative teams, construction professionals, and members of the media. The event highlighted the collaboration between storytelling, engineering, marketing, and guest experience that defines the themed entertainment industry.

Rip Roarin’ Falls will feature three world records, including the world’s tallest log flume drop, tallest reverse drop, and tallest reverse camelback drop. Set within the story of the abandoned Holz Brothers Logging Company, the attraction combines immersive theming with a first-of-its-kind ride experience for guests of all ages.

We’re incredibly thankful to Carowinds, @coaster101 , and @chris_foshee for the opportunity, and we look forward to following the progress of this groundbreaking attraction as it takes shape over the next year 🌲💦

🎢 TEA @ UNC’s First Park Trip 🩵

Planning a park trip for a family is already a challenge–now try doing it for 16 college students. That’s exactly what I had the opportunity to do alongside Grant Sizemore and Alex Bautista through TEA @ UNC, and it turned into an incredible learning experience in leadership, communication, scheduling, and managing a full group.

We spent the entire day at Kings Dominion from open to close–experiencing amazing attractions while learning about the park’s history, operations, engineering, and the industry as a whole. I’m extremely proud of what we accomplished on our first trip, and I can’t wait for our next adventure!

I had such a great opening indoor season running with @uncclubxctf . Running against college athletes is a whole different ball game.
