I would always refer to 33 as the “Jesus year” for people because it seems that at this age, there’s always something that is killed or sacrificed in them so that a new thing or being can come forth; and I was no exception to this. 33 was intense, but great because I’ve led my daily life with the most authenticity ever. It was almost like a rebirth and low-key felt like my first year of real life. I really dig who I am as a person now and, humbly and respectfully, I feel like I’m finally seeing in myself what y’all have seen all along. That essence is God, the Most High, and my savior Jesus.

Life is not perfect or even ideal at the moment, and I certainly don’t have faith mastered. I still have factors about my life that aren’t exemplary or biblical; but my relationship and walk with my Heavenly Father is personal, not private. Thank You Father for another year, thank you for your continued protection, provision, grace and mercy, thank you continuing to draw me nearer to you. 🙏🏽 by @itstheracq
