Tim, ONE YEAR since you took your last breathe. There are no words for just how much you are missed. You made such a huge impact on my life, I was lucky enough to have YOU as my brother. ONE YEAR ago what was meant to be a visit ended up being the last 5 days I was blessed to be with you. It was so hard and I struggled watching you slip away...i wasn't ready to let you go. Reaching out to a dear friend during this time...i was reminded that I was given a gift...a gift that is rarely given...the opportunity for us to say our goodbyes. I will forever be grateful for that moment. You told us that you weren't scared because you knew where you were going and you knew just how loved you were...ARE!!! You are proof that our time here is limited and man did you make the most of your time!!! You were loved and respected by so many people. They say time heals...but the truth is...time only teaches us to carry the weight of missing someone forever. I've had bad days...I've learned that sometimes it's ok not to be ok...i give myself grace and allow myself to grieve. Those good days though...I smile in those days knowing that you are there celebrating with me...YOU always will be!!! I am a better person for having YOU as my brother. 💙

Love you always,

This bracelet is more than just a bracelet!!! It was made especially for me by @selikahulbert my sweet and extremely thoughtful talented castmate from BIG FISH!!! Notice the fish in the middle!!! This show changed my life as well as the rest of my castmates!!! We all became extremely close during this whole process of telling this beautiful story!!! This bracelet to me represents love, respect, friendship...family!!! This show and these wonderful new friends came into my life when I needed it most!!! I'm forever grateful for this experience and these amazing friendships!!! 💛🐟 by @itsthestandardthomas

Three months ago I started rehearsals for BIG FISH a musical i had heard of but didn't know anything about. I listened to the broadway cast recording and immediately got this feeling that this show would be something special and I had to be a part of it. I was blessed to audition and get cast in this show. Little did I know just how special this whole experience would be...like the story the show tells the best part about adventure is the people you meet. This cast and production team worked so hard to bring this beautiful story together. Some of came in as strangers...now we have closed this show as dear friends who love and respect one another. Heather our amazing director put a group of insanely talented actors to tell this story and I will be forever grateful to have been a part of this amazing production with Due West Center for the Arts!!! 💛🎶 by @itsthestandardthomas
