Always wear your poppy with pride 🌺💙🇬🇧

We must never forget the brave men and women who sacrificed their life in service to our country, fighting for the freedoms and opportunities we are fortunate enough to enjoy today.

Because of their courage and selflessness, we have the freedom to live our lives, freedom to say what we want, pursue our dreams and make our own choices. We should never take these freedoms for granted, as they came at an unimaginable cost.

We will always remember, respect and honour those who gave their lives so that future generations could live in freedom

Lastly if you haven't already got a poppy, I'd highly encourage buying one as the money you give to the @royalbritishlegion helps our veterans.

Lest we forget. 🌺

One of my latest projects complete. I look forward to seeing how this looks in a month from now.

A red devil vampire crab bioactive terrarium.

The terrarium is full of springtails and tropical grey isopods, which help keep the ecosystem within the terrarium going.

This is Brandy, my aggressive rescue of nearly two years.

She's a Russian toy terrier.

I can’t believe it’s been 2 years and 8 days since I had to say goodbye to my soul dog, Sky. 💔

She was the best rescue dog I could have ever asked for. She came into my life so unexpectedly, but looking back, I truly believe she came into my life for a reason.

In just one year, she changed my life in ways I could never have imagined. She taught me how to be more patient, made me force myself out of the house on days when I wasn’t feeling my best, we went on adventures and taught me to live a little.

Because of her, I found my purpose and became a canine behaviourist FDSc, Level 4 dog trainer and canine nutritionist. So much of who I am today is because of her, and I will forever be grateful.

I only had ONE YEAR with her, yet she left a mark on my heart that a lifetime could never erase. She was only four when her life was cut short, and knowing that overbreeding from her previous owner played a part in that will always break my heart. No dog deserves that. I truly hope karma has hit them.

I still visit Kensington Gardens every day, her favourite park. I walk the same paths we once walked together, and although she’s no longer by my side, a part of her will always be there. I think about her every day. I miss her every day.

People say dogs break your heart, but I believe they only break it once, when you have to say goodbye.

One year was never enough, but I would rather have had that one precious year with her than never have known her at all.

You were so much more than a dog, Sky. You were my best friend, my teacher, and my once in a lifetime soul dog.

Two years and eight days without you, and not a single day without thinking about you.

I hope you’re running free, with no pain and no limits.

Until we meet again, my beautiful girl. You will always be a part of me. 🐾🌈💜❤️ by @itstorykas
