Save the libraries 🌸🌺 it starts at New York City, then it starts as a whole with our nation. It’s not a trend that should be made. The young and old, the rich and poor are able to self educate and expand their own growth at libraries. Libraries are the foundation of education here in America, the 1st step on building a self taught entrepreneur, the inspiring nurse, the students whose desires to be teachers and lawyers. They and WE all need that 1st step in learning and expanding ourselves ♥️…how can we do that if the 1st step is potentially gone? Libraries are a place to self educate, and New York City libraries gave me the opportunity to experience books and information I WISH I gotten in primary school and in college….and honestly Google too.And what about the books? What about all of the authors? Shouldn’t we have the respect for that? Cutting MORE budgets toward our people will just continue to hinder us in the end. We need books, we need us, WE need the libraries.@nycmayor @nyccouncil @nypl by @itstriceworld
