One of the BIGGEST events we have ever launched with @changethebeatofficial is officially happening, and I could not be more excited to finally share this with you!

Thursday, October 15, we’re bringing together some of the electronic music industry’s leading artists, labels, agencies, promoters, and organizations for a massive day and night of music, education, connection, and culture!

🎶 EVENT HELPERS WANTED AT FABRIC, LONDON 🎶

We’re looking for friendly, reliable people to join us for Change The Beat on Thursday 15 October, championing women and underrepresented talent in electronic music.

There are two ways to get involved:

💷 Paid door roles
Guest-list, ticket checking and digital payments. Relevant experience, clear communication and reliability are essential. Afternoon, evening and late-night cover needed, with shifts agreed in advance.

🎧 Unpaid inside event-helper roles with complimentary conference and club access
Help with exhibition set-up, welcoming guests and conference support during a short, agreed shift, with dedicated time to attend sessions and enjoy the event.

The inside roles could suit students, aspiring DJs or anyone starting out in electronic music, particularly if ticket cost is a barrier. Learn about getting booked, signing to labels and finding representation, then connect at the industry mixer with AFEM and Beatport.

Know someone dependable who would love either opportunity? Tag them in the comments!

To express interest, DM me with your preferred role, availability on 15 October and any relevant experience. We’re looking to confirm the team over the next couple of days.

I am Jane Doe.

In solidarity with every woman who has feared what speaking up might cost her.

Look at this tweet. A public invitation to expose a woman’s identity and identifying information because she has brought allegations of sexual violence.

And people still ask why women don’t report.

Because this is what awaits them. Public scrutiny. Humiliation. The threat of being hunted down online while strangers appoint themselves judge and jury.

Allegations should be examined through a fair legal process. A woman’s safety should never be the price of seeking justice.

I am fucking furious that we STILL have to say this.

Her anonymity is not your entertainment. Her identity is not your trophy.

I stand with Jane Doe. You don’t need her name to stand against this cruelty.

This scene is why Tip Toe matters. The casual comments. The expectation that LGBTQ+ people should stay calm, explain themselves and somehow make other people’s prejudice comfortable.

That isn’t just television. It’s the world we’re living in, and it’s fucked up.
