It was a busy year in 2025 and the last week was a reminder to pump the brakes instead of always being on the move. Got sick… Right before NYE, so it was a mission before taking a step back to relax. Two years ago, I was asked during an interview, “What are your career goals in this industry over the next few years?”
-
My answer was simple: I wanted to become a touring lighting technician and board operator, with the long-term goal of becoming a touring production manager.
-
Well… two years have passed.
-
After moving across the country back to Albuquerque, I initially set out on a different path, pursuing a management-in-training opportunity with Enterprise. However, as life often does, things took me in a direction I didn’t anticipate… and ultimately brought me back to concert production.
-
The past year has presented its fair share of challenges, but each one has been another opportunity to learn, adapt, and solve problems along the way. That’s one of the things I’ve come to appreciate most about this industry: no two days are ever quite the same.
-
Most recently, I wrapped up my summer tour with The Black Crowes and Whiskey Myers through 4Wall. I’m also excited to announce that I’ll be joining Bandit Lites’ Best Techs program as a freelance tech.
-
After completing two tours and a festival over the past year, I’ve decided it’s finally time to take the next big step and make my move across the country once again…. this time to Nashville.
-
I’ve spent roughly one-third of my life learning and working across both sides of concert production and talent booking, and I’m incredibly excited to see where this next chapter takes me.
-
I’m especially grateful to the Quickbeam team for helping me reignite my passion for concert and event production and for the opportunities that brought me back to where I belong.
-
Here’s to the next chapter, new opportunities, and continuing to grow within this incredible industry.

If you were to ask me 15 years ago the direction of sailing I would end up going after finishing high school, I still would have told you “I don’t know…”
-
I pushed through college with the excitement of a new show coming into town every week. Pushing in the crews equipment into El Rey Theater starting in 2013. I was on the edge of wanting to drop out of college due to wanting DJ on the weekends and doing concert event production during the week. Making anywhere from $50-$300 a week. I thought it was good as a young adult 😂

Well faster forward the work got done and I did about every direction of work in the behind the scenes (between 2013-2021 and returning in 2024 to now) and have made my way back to lighting. Last year I joined PRG’s crew services, then went on tour, and now I have joined 4Wall as well. I want to thank my crazy friends that have seen all sides of wildness with me and have been an ear to listen when I’ve think I’ve lost my mind. If I were to tell my younger self some advice I’d say, “Continue listening to that odd music and looking at the concert production, you’re going to go far kid.”
