Environmental Rhythms v.5 + Visi0

A collaboration with @arthew0 , creator of Visi0, an online node-based video editor that visualizes tracking data in real time.

The flashing lights of roadside barriers create a fast and repetitive rhythm. Visi0 tracks each light as it appears and connects its movement to graphic elements, turning the physical rhythm of the road into a dynamic visual structure.

The same rhythm becomes the foundation for the sound, creating a connection between movement, light and sound, where an environmental pattern shapes both the visual and sonic composition.

ITSU & ARS 由電子音樂家 ITSU（Artyom Markaryan）與視覺藝術家 ARS（Saori Ueda）共同組成。作品透過聲音與影像的同步結構，探索科學與藝術之間的交會點，並以極簡 Minimalism作為創作核心。

ITSU & ARS 成立於 2024 年，作品已於歐洲及亞洲多個場館與藝術平台發表演出。其演出作品中的一首曲目，更獲選為 Raster Open Call: Soundtrack Europe 2025「Repetitions」類別評審團首獎作品。

ITSU & ARS is an audiovisual project by electronic musician Artyom Markaryan (ITSU) and visual artist Saori Ueda (ARS), where science and art
intersect through synchronized sound and image, with minimalism as a core artistic method.
The project’s sonic palette draws from experimental genres such as sound art, noise, minimal, and glitch. The visual component features generative
graphics fully synchronized with the audio signal — rhythmic light pulses and abstract, minimalist forms enhance and extend the performance’s
structure.
Formed in 2024, the project has been presented at various venues across Europe and Asia. A track from the performance was selected by the jury of Raster Open Call: Soundtrack Europe 2025as the winner in the Repetitions category.

We are excited to announce PXP Audiovisual Arts Festival, a new collaboration between @perspectives_audiovisual_art and @publicvisuals.

Over two days, PXP brings together audiovisual performances, Artist Talks, and a TouchDesigner Workshop.

The workshop will be led by Ben Voigt (Derivative), covering TouchDesigner fundamentals, real-time visual workflows, and practical techniques.

「ITSU & ARS」は、電子音楽家・Artyom Markaryan（ITSU）と、ビジュアルアーティスト・上田さおり（ARS）によるオーディオビジュアル・プロジェクトです。
科学と芸術が交差する表現を探求し、音と映像を緻密に同期させながら、ミニマリズムを創作の核に据えたパフォーマンスを展開しています。

このプロジェクトのサウンドは、サウンドアート、ノイズ、ミニマル、グリッチといった実験的な音楽ジャンルから着想を得ています。映像には、音と完全に同期したジェネレーティブ・グラフィックスを用い、リズミカルな光のパルスや抽象的でミニマルなフォルムが、パフォーマンスの構造を視覚的に際立たせ、その表現をさらに広げています。
2024年の結成以来、ヨーロッパやアジア各地でパフォーマンスを行ってきました。また、本プロジェクトの楽曲の一つは、「Raster Open Call: Soundtrack Europe 2025」において、「Repetitions」部門の最優秀作品に選出されています。
