While walking out of Jersey Mike’s in Welleby, I was looking forward to eating my sub! But love and kindness came first. I saw a senior citizen who needed help and took a moment to lend a hand.

Life gets busy, but we can always slow down to care for one another. We’re neighbors, and looking out for each other is part of what makes our @cityofsunrise community feel like home. I made a new friend, and it was a pleasure to help. ❤️ by @itsviralraz

🚨 UPDATE — TOOLS RETURNED! 🙌🏽

I’m happy to share that I connected with Yvonne and returned the tools, which belong to the senior community at Sunrise Lakes Phase 4! ❤️

Thank you to everyone who shared the post, reached out, and helped me find their rightful owners. These tools are expensive, and after hearing the story behind them and how they got lost, I’m especially grateful I came across them.

Being able to help my community means so much to me. Thank you, @cityofSunrise, for coming together! 🙏🏽

It was an absolute pleasure meeting Yvonne. She is such a sweet lady with a beautiful heart, and I’m so glad I got to meet her. I returned some tools and made a new friend! 🙌🏽

For Breast Cancer Awareness Month, it was an honor to stand up for my Aunt Luchy at @cityofsunrise. She was more than just an aunt to me. She was like my second mother. She helped raise me and helped me become the man I am today. I’m so grateful for everything she did in my life and for the amazing aunt she was.

She fought with a smile on her face. She never complained. She just fought. She’s a true warrior, and standing up for her meant a lot to me. 💗 RIP, Tía Luchy. Te amo.

I pray for anybody who is currently facing breast cancer. Stay strong, keep praying, and keep your faith.

And ladies, please get checked. Early detection can make a difference. There are resources out there that can help you find affordable or free mammograms. Please make time to take care of yourself. 🙏🏽

@cityofsunrise, thank you again.

Thank you to the @CityofSunrise for recognizing my son for basketball! He’s truly an amazing boy with a big heart, and he works very hard. He loves basketball, and this means a lot to him.

Thank you to the city staff and the sports department! It was truly special to see my boy out there with his head held high and a huge smile on his face. To the mayor and commissioners, thank you for making tonight so special!

🚨 FOUND TOOLS — SUNRISE , FL 🚨

While heading to Walmart, I came across several tools scattered across the road near Sunrise Boulevard and Hiatus Road, including a large car jack. I waited for a while to see if the owner would return before collecting them. It looks like they may have fallen out of a car or truck without the owner realizing.

These tools look expensive, and I’d love to get them back to their rightful owner. If they belong to you, or you know someone who may have lost them, please message me and describe what’s missing.

Please share this post with anyone you know in Sunrise, especially anyone who works with tools. Thank you for helping me find the owner! 🙏🏽

We got another one! 🦋🔥

This morning, I got to witness one of my Gulf fritillary butterflies emerge right here in my garden! I’ve been sharing a lot of my monarch journey, but they’re definitely not the only butterflies growing up around here. 😂🦋

Watching these butterflies go from tiny caterpillars, to a chrysalis, and finally emerge with their wings never gets old.

Every week there’s something new happening in this garden, and I’m loving the journey. 🌿🦋

Another successful hatch! Welcome to the world! 🙌🏽🦋

Y’all been asking me what plants to get for your butterfly gardens, so I went to Lowe’s today to show y’all what to look for… and LOOK WHAT I FOUND! 😩😂

APHIDS EVERYWHERE! Those little yellow/orange bugs can multiply FAST and take over your #milkweed.

Milkweed is a MUST if you’re trying to attract #Monarchs 🦋 — but before you bring one home from Lowe’s, Home Depot, or ANY nursery, CHECK THAT PLANT! 👀

Look underneath the leaves, around the new growth, flower buds, and stems. If you see a bunch of these little yellow/orange aphids like this…

PUT. IT. BACK. 😂😂

We building a #butterfly #garden… NOT APHID CONDOS! 😭😂

Follow me because I’m gonna keep showing y’all what to BUY and what to LEAVE AT THE STORE! 🌱🦋 by @itsviralraz

Great morning! ☀️ Some of the caterpillars finally came out their chrysalis 😂🔥 The Butterfly Condo got some new residents this morning! 😂 Let me show y’all what I woke up to! #WildAtTheCrib #ButterflyCondo by @itsviralraz

Something crazy just happened! 🐛🔥🔥

I came to check on the caterpillars in the butterfly condo, and RIGHT when I pulled up, one of them started turning into a chrysalis. I got to capture the whole moment!

My bad for the camera shaking 😂 I wasn’t expecting it to happen right then… but I was READY.

And that’s one thing about life—you gotta stay ready no matter what the circumstances look like.

Watching this caterpillar transform really made me think… we all go through transformations in life. Sometimes it’s uncomfortable. Sometimes it’s a struggle. Sometimes you don’t even recognize what you’re becoming yet.

But that doesn’t mean nothing is happening.

No matter what stage you’re in, keep going. We’re all evolving. 🐛➡️🦋

Nature really be preaching sometimes. 🙏🏽💯💯

This is how I get my day started. My bad for the dirty nails I was working with soil 🌱😆

Anyway💯 I’ve been growing milkweed and a bunch of butterfly plants for the last few months, and I’ve been getting so many caterpillars. 🐛 But I noticed once they go into their chrysalis, a lot of them don’t make it because of lizards and other predators. So now I’m taking matters into my own hands 😂 I move them into the Butterfly Condo, where they can chill, stay protected, transform, and come out when they’re ready to fly. 🦋🏠
