It’s been a YEAR, with lots of ups and downs (literally) on the bike - but can’t wait to get back to it and stuck into a big winter 💪 Aerobically feeling so strong from the triathlon training, so looking forward to seeing how that translates to racing 👀

the trail is better.
i know that.
the terrain does the work.
climbs, rocks,
somewhere to put
the attention.

this is a flat oval
in a valley.
nothing to solve.
nothing to read
under the feet.

and still,
multiple laps in,
the noise i brought here
goes quiet.

whatever i was carrying
gets left
somewhere on the back straight.

it will be waiting
on the drive home.

but not here.
not for another lap.

Can only describe Chamonix as the most amazing and exhausting week I’ve experienced in a long time. The people, the town, the trails, the event. Everything was perfect, except my sleep score.
