I randomly met you when you played for Houston and our paths crossed again in 2018… when I heard you were sick, I prayed and prayed for you. Cancer is a nasty nasty thing man… I’ll always remember our convos and your reaction when I told you my cousin is an eagles great.. if there is any silver lining to this, your last football game was in 2018, it was in the Super Bowl and you won… Rip @bryanbraman #eagles #texans #gonetoosoon taken in Los Angeles, California by @itswaltwalters

There is no easy way to write this but I gotta face this head on. A few years ago, I was diagnosed with MS, amongst other things it attacks my immune system. It’s been out of sight, out of mind with this because I’ve been staying on top of my medicine and just been living life. Well on Friday, I woke up and couldn’t move my legs, I’m talking dead weight. I called the paramedics to come get me, I live by myself and my doors were locked, I couldn’t get out of bed to let them in so they did a forces entry. So I got to hospital with high blood pressure, low oxygen, confusion about even the year it was, my temperature was going from 98 to 105 consistently. Long story less long after every test known to man, I somehow got pneumonia in my lungs and that triggered a MS flare up and my body was fighting itself and shutting down at the same time. I arrived paralyzed from the waist down. Friday and Saturday were bad days for me because a million thoughts were going through my head as to why this was happening to me. They were finally able to get everything control by Sunday but having no legs for 3 days with no answers was very frustrating. But I just trusted the process and left it in gods hands. But I’m getting better day by day, i am finally walking on my own and hopefully im out of here this week. As 2024 ends, I’d like to thank the lord for all the blessings.. you really looked after me in 2024 and it doesn’t look like it is stopping in 2025… you have given me the clearest vision of what to do with my 24 hours.. So 2025 will be all gas and no brakes. Please look after all my friends so we can all reach our personal goals.. so 2025, let’s do this!!

Ps. These are Jordan 1 taxi’s… they came out in 2022 and I literally just laced them up for all the score keepers out there taken in Richmond, Virginia by @itswaltwalters
