Just a girl who made plans and God laughed.

The Kintsugi pot represents the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery. Rather than hiding the cracks, artists fill them with gold, transforming shattered pieces into something even more beautiful than before. The brokenness is not concealed, it becomes part of the story of restoration and re-creation. As a divorced woman, I’ve discovered there is beauty in brokenness. Just as Christ rose bearing the marks of His suffering, we too are being restored, not back to who we once were, but morphed into a new person who God is creating to become whole, radiant, and renewed. The cracks in our lives are not signs of failure, but rather places where God’s grace shines through most brightly. His love fills our broken places with beauty, purpose, and strength. So, embrace your scars, knowing they’re apart of a greater story, one being written with redemption, hope, healing, and renewal. What was once broken can become a masterpiece in the hands of God. by @itswendirenee

I’m not religious…I just love God and I know He loves me. I’m not ashamed about that. I don’t claim to be a preacher, I don’t need a title because I can talk about him without it. I’m just a girl who tells anybody interested about a man that rescued me when I didn’t even realize I needed to be rescued! Jesus is amazing and loves and accepts me flawed and all. Yep, I’m one of those people who believes that possibilities are endless because I BELIEVE in Him. As He builds me and my faith, I’m just out here tryna be a light to help anyone looking for truth in this dark cruel world. Man people are hurting, but there is a remedy…there is HOPE IN GOD, he gave it to me. My life is a miracle and testimony of his goodness to me. In the meantime, stay encouraged, be light, and don’t stop believing! #belight #uplift #empower #believe by @itswendirenee

It’s October, which means it’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Ladies, I urge you, please get checked. Thirteen years ago, on October 2nd, I walked into what I thought was a regular doctor’s visit, and walked out facing a breast cancer diagnosis. That routine appointment became an urgent, life-saving moment for me. Early detection matters. Don’t put it off. Schedule your screenings, know your body, and take preventive measures when appropriate. Be proactive about your health. That appointment could save your life. 💗 by @itswendirenee
Moving differently, but in my lane. My next is now by @itswendirenee
Something’s wrong. Can you find it? It’s interesting how we often see what we expect instead of what is actually there. When something is familiar, whether it’s a relationship, friendship, a job, a family dynamic, even our own behavior, we can become so accustomed to the pattern that we stop examining it closely. The problem is the pattern. We mentally fill in the missing pieces. Why? Because we want success so bad that our minds start supplying what isn’t actually present. Stop overlooking the details and fix the pattern. by @itswendirenee
Summer dump☀️ I had a summer of suddenly… Suddenly, I received an unexpected blessing I didn’t know I needed. Suddenly, life became more clearer. Suddenly, what was intended to break me actually strengthened me. Suddenly, my family came closer. Suddenly, I met my childhood icons, TLC. Suddenly, I wrote my first book and launched a wellness program for divorced women. Suddenly, I realized everything changed, including me. Suddenly, a greater, wiser, and stronger version of me blossomed. And suddenly I became prepared for what the next season has for me. I’m grateful for this life! by @itswendirenee
