Love Me Not —This one’s for anyone who’s ever held in the tears, and asked the question no one wants to say out loud. This is the third single from my Country Carnatic project — where country soul meets Carnatic heart — a genre-bending journey I’ve been crafting with some incredible artists. Yes, I just wrapped my debut as a film composer (thank you for the love!) but Country Carnatic is back and stronger than ever. This movement is just getting started… and I’ll be sharing more soon. For now, stream “Love Me Not” wherever you listen to music. 🎧 Link in bio. taken in Austin, Texas by @itswillshine

Palace intrigue vibes ✨👑 We took some fun photos recently, let’s introduce our current lineup! On drums, in the yellow shirt we have Will Shine. On bass, wearing the hat we have Nate Lee. On keys, in the blue shirt we have Michael Solomon. And finally on guzheng and dizi, wearing the purple shirt, we have Vicki Lu! We’re Jazzmyn, a cross-cultural jazz ensemble. We stitch together the past, present, and future, honoring our American & Chinese cultural heritage and creating something brand new. We’re currently working on a new EP, and we have an eponymous debut album already released - Jazzmyn. You can stream it everywhere. And, please do! We’d love for you to hear it 🌸 Anyway, back to the palace intrigue 👑 Now that you know everyone, how do you think this court drama is shaking out? Who is winning the favor of the emperor and set to inherit the throne? Who is skilled at plotting and scheming? Who’s winning favor through winsome magnetism? Who will succumb to poison? Who will DO the poisoning??? Comment below and we’ll keep you updated on how the palace intrigue is developing 👇 #chinesedrama #palacedrama #chinesejazz #guzheng #palaceintrigue by @itswillshine
