It was such a pleasure receiving the Windrider Summit’s Amplify Award at this year’s Sundance Film Festival. We shared @playhardfilm with an audience of 400 people and had a beautiful conversation about the power of short filmmaking. Some birthday gifts require passports 🌴 I’m very grateful for this next chapter in my life. This year’s intention is to be more conscious of my thought patterns. Today is a dream come true. @dearmamafilm makes her public premiere today with @newyorkermag ✨This film is a love letter to LA and to Tupac. It’s a love letter to all those we’ve lost and and to everyone who has felt unheard in their own homes. January 14, I was born on my grandmother’s birthday and given her middle name Elizabeth. Yesterday we celebrated her turning 90 years old. 90 Y’ALL! My grandmother still reads a book a week, remembers EVERYTHING, and refuses to get dinner without wearing her heels 😂. I come from good stock, and I hope to continue living the good life like my grandma, the diva. Please continue the love by wishing my birthday twin, Mrs. Dorothy Elizabeth Archie, a very happy birthday!! ❤️✨🎁 by @itswinterdunn
