Walking into PV, I was a shy girl from Oackliff ,Tx. Who didn’t fully know what to expect… just trying to find her way. But The Hill will change you.

It pushed me, shaped me, and brought a woman to frutition. I’m leaving more confident, more outspoken, and ready for whatever comes next.

To my family and friends, thank you for always keeping me encouraged, for the prayers before every single exam ( iykyk), and for speaking life into me on the days I needed it the most. To my mentors and professors I met along the way, thank you for pushing me past my limit and giving me so many gems.

And to my granny… my angel every step of the way, I felt your presence through it all. 🤍

This journey wasn’t easy, but it was necessary.

Thank you God, for seeing something in me even when I struggled to see it in myself and for trusting me with the calling to care for others. 🩺

Nursing school tested me in ways I never imagined mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. There were days I felt empty, overwhelmed, and unsure. Somehow through the stress, the late nights, and unpaid clinicals I became stronger, wiser, and more grounded in my purpose. This journey didn’t just make me a nurse it shaped me into the woman I am today. 🤍

To the Zeta Chi Beta Chapter of Chi Eta Phi Sorority Inc. Thank you for giving me a place to grow, to serve, and a deeper sense of purpose. Every moment poured into me in ways I’ll carry long after this chapter. 💛

To the PHInomenal Six Senses my line sisters, thank you for being my backbone, my laughter, and my strength.
