Lately, I’ve found myself being a little ungrateful—worrying about a life I haven’t even started living, caught up in future anxieties.

But this morning, during my devotion, something shifted. I remembered that, the life I’m living right now is the very life I once prayed for.

Back in secondary school, I used to dream of starting my days with quiet time—just me, my Bible, and God. I longed for mornings where prayer wasn’t rushed and Scripture wasn’t occasional. But it never quite happened then—maybe I didn’t have a devotional, maybe I didn’t make time. Super grateful for @youversion

Yet here I am, living that very dream. For the past three years, if not more, - since I was introduced to @youversion it’s rare for a day to pass without me reading my Bible and praying. Many days, it’s the very first thing I do when I open my eyes. Some days I study deeply and pray intensely. Other days it’s a simple prayer and a verse of the Bible. But it’s consistent. It’s sacred. It’s real.

And somehow, in the beauty of routine, I forgot that this is an answered prayer.

Today, I choose to be grateful for the million little miracles. You should too ✨

My LLB story in one word? Rollercoaster!

The journey for me didn’t exactly start in University of Lagos (unilag) but unilag surely defined it.
There was absolutely no year throughout the journey that I was not on the verge of giving up. It’s either an admission threatening event, feeling of unworthiness, my intelligence questioned or ASUU - a weapon that definitely fashioned against us but didn’t prevail. I felt every kind of emotion one can possibly feel in these 7 years.
I can categorically tell you that the hardest thing I’ve had to do in my life so far is study Law but God’s hand is upon my life - He told me: “ I brought you here, I’d take you out safely”. I learnt to trust Him completely withholding nothing! Grace literally carried and sustained me. Everything that I needed throughout the journey per time, God provided it.

My heart as I type this is full of so much gratitude to God. Indeed, if it weren’t for the Lord who was on my side, faculty of Law would have swallowed me.
