We asked WealthTech users how much of a task AI should handle on its own. 28% said all of it. The other 72% said they'd like to be involved, which is a polite way of saying they'd like to read it first.

Their caution has a paper trail, from a deleted production database to a chatbot that quoted the wrong fare policy.
