One year ago today, I walked into People’s Church carrying a heaviness I didn’t know how to escape. On the outside, I looked okay, but inside I was broken. I was searching for acceptance, trying to fit into a world that constantly left me feeling empty. I knew who God was, but I didn’t really know Him for myself. Then one simple invitation changed everything for me.

From the moment I walked through the doors, something felt different. I was welcomed with genuine smiles and kindness. That feeling of belonging kept me coming back.

Little by little, God began to change my heart. I started to experience a relationship with Him that was real and personal. At youth camp, God met me right where I was and healed parts of me no one could see. Youth camp was a turning point in my life. Watching people my age and even younger worship God was an indescribable thing to see.After camp, I felt renewed, refreshed, and closer to God than ever before.

As my faith grew, so did my desire to serve. I found joy in pouring into others and becoming part of something bigger than myself. Then I made the decision to go public with my faith and be rebaptized. That moment marked a new beginning and a full surrender to God’s plan for my life.

Not long after, God began rewriting my plans. I thought I knew exactly what my future would look like, but He placed ministry on my heart. It scared me at first. I questioned it. I doubted myself, but now, I walk confident in his plan for me and I am trusting Him with my future.

In just one year, God has completely transformed my life through People’s Church. I’ve gained friendships that will last for a lifetime and a church family I will cherish forever.
Through all of this, my relationship with God has grown more than I could have ever imagined. I will forever thank God for his love.

I can’t imagine where I would be if I wasn’t invited to church that day. I am a walking testimony on how just one invite can change a person’s life. I’m not the same person I was a year ago. And this is only the beginning of my story. by @itz.cherishhhh

CAMP 2026 💜

Camp was so amazing!

Last year, I came to camp as a student who felt broken, and I left feeling free. That week completely changed my life.

This year, I got to experience camp from a different perspective. Instead of just seeing God work in my own life, I watched Him transform the lives of others. Seeing students cry out to God and surrender their hearts to Him was so beautiful.

From the competitive games to the altar calls, every moment of camp was incredible. I’m so thankful for the memories, the people, and the way God continues to move. by @itz.cherishhhh

I graduated high school!! 🎓

12 year old me would be so proud of everything we’ve overcome to get here. I’m so grateful for my family, teachers, and friends who helped me become the person I am today and supported me every step of the way. Thank You God for leading me through it all and carrying me every step of the way. I can’t wait to see what this next season of life looks like 🤍
