Wow… it’s been 7 years.

It feels like I blinked twice, and somehow, seven years have gone by.

I still remember that cold morning in Jos, Plateau State, when I resumed for my first day at work on June 1st, 2019. Since then, it’s been a journey of learning, growth, challenges, opportunities, and unforgettable people.

I’ve had the privilege of working with amazing individuals @ulessonapp and @mivauniversity from different backgrounds, learning from them, and witnessing the growth of a company I am proud to have been part of its early days as one of the first 10 employees.

Looking back, I’m grateful for the lessons, the experiences, the relationships, and above all, God’s faithfulness through every season.

Seven years later, I’m still learning, still growing, and still grateful.

Cheers to 7 years of consistency, resilience, growth, and impact.

While I was behind the camera working on this piece around this time last year, I remember being fully locked in on getting the story right.

I never ended up posting it then, but it’s always stayed with me.

Miva Open University’s 4th Matriculation Ceremony at Transcorp Hilton was truly a remarkable event. One statement that stayed with me was from our Chancellor, Sim Shagaya: “Action drives away fear.”

It’s a powerful reminder that progress begins when we take that first step, even when we’re uncertain.

Miva continues to create opportunities for people to dream bigger, reach higher, and take bold steps towards their future.

I feel that !

There’s a quiet kind of transformation that happens when life begins preparing you for a new chapter. Your habits shift, your priorities evolve, and the familiar starts to feel a little too small.

Pay attention to the changes within you. Sometimes, growth is simply your soul recognising that you were made for more.

Sometimes, we don’t realise we’re doing the very things that slowly push us away from our craft.

Expecting results too quickly, comparing ourselves to others, and failing to build systems. These things may seem harmless, but over time, they creep into our thoughts, affect our confidence, and slowly drain the passion that made us start.

Sometimes, quitting begins in the mind long before we actually give up.

Went to church today, and a friend looked at my outfit and said, “Why are you giving us all this Paris fashion vibe?” 🇫🇷

And honestly, that made me smile because, wait… so you see the vision?

I love when people notice the little details, especially when it comes to personal style. I’ve always been drawn to pieces that feel different, effortless, and a little unconventional. Not just wearing clothes, but expressing myself through them.

Now, I think Paris needs to make its way up my bucket list. Because if the fashion is already finding me here, imagine what would happen when I get there.
