This marks my final chorus concert at VVS, and it’s hard to put into words what this program has meant to me. For over half my life, music has been my home, my passion, and a huge part of who I am.

Serving as Chorus President this year has been an honor, the officers and myself did so much to benefit the group. We planned and ran a fundraiser for NYC, we found ways to encourage participation and support in class and even how to better promote chorus in the community. Standing on this stage one last time is both bittersweet and incredibly rewarding. I am beyond grateful for Ms. Hyde, all of my wonderful music teachers, my fellow student musicians, my friends, and my family for supporting me every step of the way.

Receiving the Zingaro Outstanding Musician Award is something I will cherish forever. It represents so many years of dedication, growth, hard work, and love of this program. I couldn’t be more proud of what I’ve accomplished and the memories I’ve made with my friends along the way.

Thank you, VVS Music, for giving me a place to belong, perform, lead, and grow. I’ll miss it more than words can ever say. 🎶❤️ taken in VVS Music by @itz_seann

Freaky Friday!!!
I couldn’t have asked for a cooler show and an even cooler role this year. When I first found out our show was Freaky Friday I was so confused because I found out what the show was a month early and I didn’t know Freaky Friday was a stage musical, flash forward to last night when I lead the whole cast in a spectacular dance break. Also having an Ellie teach me a majority of the music was so fun. I can only imagine how much fun Hyde had redoing the show all these years later! If you’d told me I was going to be front and center on stage 4 years ago I would told called you crazy. It might shock you but I was scared of performing infront of people at one point. It wasn’t till a few friends dragged me into auditions for beauty and the beast, and the rest is history. The emotional connection I had with this show is one I’ll never forget. The music has meaning and this has been a growth moment for me. And you know you’re doing a good job when during the dance break you stop what you’re doing a just take it all in. Im beyond grateful for all the amazing adults, my family, and all my crazy friends. I loved getting to do a show with all of you. Even tho Aceus can’t dance to save his life. I’m proud of you all now GO!!! 🧡❤️ taken in VVS Music by @itz_seann

Theres no place like the vvs stage! I’ve been busy these past few months working on this wonderful show! So proud of these wonderful kids and so grateful I was asked to design and manage this incredible production of Wizard of Oz. It was hard but it was the most rewarding experience I’ve ever done in this field of work and I can’t want for the next one!
