Vintage Original Marian Foster Curtiss Long Island Artist Children Illustration Watercolor Painting Wood Frame 1940s

This original vintage watercolor illustration was created by Marian Foster Curtiss (1909-1978) the creator of Miss Flora McFlimsey a children's book published in the 1940s. The stories were based on a poem written in the 19th century about Miss Flora McFlimsey and her little world of animals and dolls. The illustration pictures 3 children, Victoria, Ichabod, and Deliah in different poses some of these characters appeared in her stories.
