💀🦇MAKIN OF THE THRONE!! 🦇 💀 When Will sent me a message saying “Ivy… how do you feel about creating A Throne of Skulls…”, I didnt have to think twice before saying yes, absolutely. Thank you @creepercult for an actual dream of a job - the freedom for this one was amazing and I had so so much fun! Catch the throne in the new Blood Magick vid (go watch!), on their Kerrang cover, and TBC 👀👀 by @iv.obel

MAKIN OF HERIOT’S DEMON! Was lovely to be back creating for the @heriotmetal hogs - thank you for trusting me with this fella! Jake and @hauntedmattress said “Magic the Gathering: Demonic Tutor”, and I said “I gotchu”. Had a few days to turn this around, so I constantly forgot to film the process (soz paint job), but @ashleabeaphoto’s gorj BTS shots show off the final result! Always happy to take on fun commissions - hit me up! by @iv.obel
Spent the last week on @mangostone2017’s first latex mask making short course! I learnt a bunch, spent a week with absolutely lovely people, and came away with this monstrosity! Here’s some photos of the process - from initial ideas sculpt to final painted mask. Huge cenobite influence, brought to life with the guidance of @mgchealey - who frankly was the best teacher ever ✨ Hopefully the start of more sculpting stuff! by @iv.obel

💀THRONE OF SKULLS💀 Made the skull throne in the @creepercult Blood Magick video didn’t I! There’s more to see of the big ol’ chair but here’s some stills from the vid, covered in snakes and William Von Ghould. As well as prop building, I was also first AD and us at @clumpcollective were producing, so it was all-consuming for a week. But if you love snakes, spiders, gals, planes, skulls, tats, blood and vamps then it’s not really work is it xxxx Director / Editor / Love: @hauntedmattress Production: @clumpcollective Director of Photography: @jawmidnight Assistant Director: @iv.obel Colourist: @hansquires MUA: @ghost.hostess Dancers: Amie Mills Annie Winstanley + Mollie Stebbing Throne: @iv.obel Starring: @missfernandez_tattoo & @ghost.hostess Runner: @ellencollingsart Title card: @steph.dutton Special thanks: Daisy & Glow Worm (ft. in last slide) Tinkerbell, Cupcake and the team at Scales & Tails Encounters by @iv.obel
THE HAAL STONE Am getting round to sharing a bunch of cool stuff I worked on and forgot to post (Ivy not do socials v well) and this up there with my favs. Last year I had the pleasure of bringing the relic design by @chrismjburton to life for @haalband's EP release! Thank you guys for being such a pleasure to work with, 10/10 would I'd do it again in a heartbeat xoxo 📸 Slide 2: @destructionmanual Slide 4: @photos.by.lids by @iv.obel
🍄Blood Wizard - Big Fish 🍄 The 'wizards are playing the Louis tonight and it's got me thinkin about this sweet lil shroomy moment for Cai! Prosthetics painted, applied, and lil baby mushroom by me! Slides 1 + 6 📸 @ma.riedutton 💖 by @iv.obel
✨ Bill! ✨ Last year me and @jennysimmonscreative made Bill - a crazy green mascot for The Student Energy Group. We kept each other sane during the tight turnaround and accidentally created some v cursed moments in the making process (9th slide is my recurring nightmare). Thanks to @pickleprops for passing the project over to us, to @creations_lucyeileen and @andrew_sux for your help battling the tassels, and @hauntedmattress for being our visiting tall man and for the film snaps!! 🥰 by @iv.obel
