Back on trackt for the first round of 2026. Kicking off the Super Taikyu season with the Suzuka 5 Hours.

A bit of a different feeling for that weekend, running just a single car in the Box, which means full focus on the Civic TCR.

The car looks completely different this year, swapped the old white base for a satin/matte black design. Also some new drivers joining us, alongside a few familiar faces we're glad to be working with again!

2025 Season Recap | Part 2: Fuji 24 Hours

The toughest and longest race of the season. This time, we took on the challenge with just the Waimarama #98 Hyundai Elantra TCR.
It was my first time working a 24-hour race. Despite how tough it was for both the car and the crew, it is a truly special event. Watching the cars running non-stop through the darkness under the fireworks... Experiencing a race like this from the inside was magic.

🏎️ A few months ago, I had the incredible opportunity to attend a Formula 1 test. Being able to see, touch, observe, and learn from the professionals who bring this Jaguar to life was an unforgettable experience.

Since I was a child, my dream has always been to become an F1 engineer. Beeing able to see it all from the inside was a dream come true. Moments like this just make me wanna keep growing and learning every day in what I love the most: Racecars. 🏎️

🏁 One year ago today, I had the opportunity to drive a Mazda MX5 Cup, a funny car to drive, but with the addition of Individual Throttle Bodies not only provided a noticeable power boost, but also created an incredibly satisfying intake sound. Combine that with a weight reduction, a well-tuned suspension setup, and the absence of power steering, it truly became an unforgettable driving experience.

I never thought I'd see a SuperGT race! But from the moment I knew I was moving to Tochigi Prefecture, attending the final SuperGT race became my top priority.

Quite different from European GT races, many people attended the circuit, all dressed in official clothing of their favorite teams and supporting them by waving their flags. Many people were camping in the spectator area, and it was funny to see some NSX, Skyline or Supras in camping mode.

The experience was amazing. I had never seen such fast GTs. I spent some time watching them from the hardest braking point on the circuit and it was incredible. Next to them, the GT3s (GT300) seemed like a very slow cars, and the difference in pace between GT500 and GT300 was visualy bigger than I expected. I've fallen in love with that GT concept in all its aspects. Although there may not be as much technical variety as with the GT3 they have a special charm, and also a nice sound, even though having a 4cyl 2.0T.

Furthermore, at the end of the race, they allowed spectators to freely enter the circuit and walk to the finish line, where the podium is held and all the cars are displayed in a type of accessible "Parc fermé".

Feeling the wind in Mount Akagi! 🚗🍂

I had the chance to drive a rented Honda S660 on a 350km trip through Gunma Prefecture, which is currently dressed in stunning shades of orange, yellow, and red for the autumn season.

Driving the S660 was an amazing experience, not just because of its compact dimensions, but also due to its unique features, like having the engine just behind your neck (which gives you a peculiar sensation of the engine's sound coming from there).

With just 64hp, it might seem slow, and it is, but for the roads that i drove in, tackling narrow mountain passes where barely two cars can squeeze through, it's more than enough to put a smile on your face. What's even more noticeable is the presence of the turbo, delivering a strong push from 2500rpm up to 6000rpm. The engine keeps on revving up to around 7500rpm, but there's a noticeable drop in power once you cross the 6000rpm mark.

The manual gearbox (finally, a chance to drive a manual car again!) is incredible, just as a sports transmission should be. It has a very mechanical feel, slightly firm, with clearly defined gear positions. Plus, it's a 6-speed gearbox with short and well-spaced gear ratios, making it simply perfect for this kind of drive.
