Ivan got to visit with @ryanseacrest again and tell him how he has changed his life! @ryanfoundation has been such a huge part of Ivan’s story and he could not be where he is today without them! We are forever thankful for Ryan, his family, the foundation and Seacrest Studios staff for showing Ivan this ability to find his passion and joy in life, for believing in him, for seeing him for who he is inside, for giving every patient and family who walk In those doors @vumcchildren and studios in all the hospitals an escape, hope, love, excitement, joy and family! Ivan was thrilled to interview Matthew Lillard, who is one of his bucket list people he has wanted to interview! Matthew was absolutely wonderful to Ivan and Ivan was so happy and excited to see him, he talked nonstop in the line and when face to face he kept watching him. Thank you Matthew for being such an amazing person and seeing Ivan for who he is and hearing his voice, which is what our whole purpose is!

and we finally were able to catch you and
drove 4 1/2 hours to make
it happen! You made his day!
You are an incredible soul
who made such a difference!

for giving him the ability to speak and the medical care to
allow him to go anddo these things.
Thank you Ryan Seacrest Foundation for showing us
his love for interviews and giving him that spark!

Ivan is a balancing act with letting him go do these comic cons,
which are what bring him so much joy and
maintaining his health and letting his body rest and heal.
He gets tired but still loves to be there and get these
opportunities so we do all we can that his health allows.

Ivan is recovering from surgery so we didn’t make it the whole weekend and use we’re able to do one day.

Thank you Horrorhound for allowing Ivan to
pursue his joy of interviewing!

Ivan is using a Tobii Dynavox Eye Gaze Device with a custom page set and custom dwell time due to him having nystagmus that makes it where his eyes cannot focus for long periods.

Ivan gets to see his buddy and interviews Jamie Campbell Bower at Nashville Celebrity Comic Con Con Con 2026
Ivan had surgery 3 weeks before but getting to this con and seeing his friend again was a big drive in his recovery. Jamie is always wonderful and full of light and love and joy with Ivan and Ivan loves him dearly. Updated story of Ivan. We are so thankful for all the wonderful people in Ivan's life. He is turning 18 and looking back at his journey makes me feel so blessed to have him! Older throwback to Ivan interviewing Faye Mata at Indiana Comic Con a couple years ago! She was incredibly sweet to him!
Ivan has Dandy Walker Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy and speaks with an eye gaze device. Going to comic cons and interviewing celebrities is what brings him joy and is his passion and allows him to show the world his voice and who he is inside! Thank you to Monroe Carell Jr Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt and Ryan Seacrest Foundation for giving him his voice and showing him his passion! Thank you Indiana Comic Con for always supporting him and being good to him!
Ivan's health is a battle at times and so we have to juggle it with getting to comic cons but he loves doing this! Thank you to everyone who supports him!

In honor of Ivan's brother Joseph's birthday, here are pictures of the bond they had. Joseph taught us many things in his life, especially to live life to the fullest and make memories. Joseph also had Dandy Walker Syndrome and passed away through no fault of the doctors from a VP shunt malfunction where the valve malfunctioned in the device itself. It was very unexpected and immediate and left our family struggling and Ivan and everyone still misses him very much.
Joseph lived a very full and active life and always found joy in things and taught us how important that was.
Part of Ivan's story is this and to know and understand Ivan and how he got to be where he is today, is to understand all parts of him.
As you can see, they shared a very close bond. by @ivansvoice

Please help report this person. I have reported and blocked them over and over and they keep making new accounts and coming back to spam Ivan with this hatred.
Today is Ivan’s brother, Joseph, who passed away birthday and a hard day for us and we do not need this hatred.
I wish there was a way to permanently block this person from continually making new accounts and doing this.

I know we haven't posted lately, but we have had quite a bit happening with our family and illnesses and surgeries and life. Ivan has been doing ok besides mesquito bites keep getting him and we dont even spend time outside, just going to van, but he is so highly allergic amd reactive to them his skin blisters. He has gotten to do a filming project lately for some training videos and as you can see from the pictures, he was very happy about it. Thank you for your continued support for him! I promise I will get more of his videos out soon! by @ivansvoice

Quick update on Ivan, we have been super busy and Ivan has been struggling with a severe UTI and feeling rough. His bladder has not quite bounced back from being sick before. Hopefully he gets over this soon.

Also we have had several family members in the hospital with surgeries or major health issues on top of his issues so I still have not had a chance to upload more interviews lately with all we have had happening, but will soon.

We initially planned a comic con this weekend but they will not allow him to do interviews and I do not want him to be sad there so we are staying home. Hopefully he can be back at them before long. He is excited for the ones coming up this summer and fall and the love they show him!

We are incredibly blessed that the sweet people of @lizards_of_ozz heard about Ivan's loss of Flash and how sad he was and came through to help bring his smile back and make his day and life brighter! He went from not opening his eyes in the living room to look at the empty, dark enclosure to smiling again thanks to his new precious friend who he has decided to name El, short for Eleven because he loves Stranger Things. He struggled with what he wanted to name her and I wondered how long it was going to take him, but finally decided on this. She is a beautiful, healthy, active and incredibly sweet and socialized little girl who fits with him so incredibly perfect! (We decided a healthy dragon is what we needed instead of a rescue since we are still nursing other sweet ones with issues) She is so perfect! Ivan's smile is back! That means everything! He still misses Flash and we always will, we still talk about him often, but sweet little El is helping him heal! Thank you so much Lizards of Ozz for your incredible kindness and for understanding Ivan and being so wonderful to him! She is so perfect and so sweet! We appreciate you so much! by @ivansvoice
