Check out the remaining August events and upcoming September events.

August: CSU Spring 2027 Application is due Monday, August 30th! Plan on attending on workshops and opens labs to receive assistance from our counselors.

September: UC Transfer Guarantee Admissions (TAG) opens September 1st! Our Transfer counselors can assist students understanding the admissions requirements, GPA, and the next steps. The applications closes Wed, September 30th.

We encourage students to start the UC Transfer Admissions Planner (TAP) to starting entering personal information, academic history, and choosing their institution.

Transfer Counseling for Summer 2026 Schedule is up!

Summer 2026
During the Summer semester, our transfer counselors will be placed in the Counseling Center located in Student Services Center Building, Second Floor, Room 210.

Drop-ins: 10 - 15 mins offered via in-person or phone.
Appointments: Please contact Counseling Center for availability: 949-451-5319

We are offering a limited number of appointments. Appointments are schedule 7 days in advance starting at 8 am based on the dates listed below.

Example: Students who call Tuesday, May 26 to book for the following Tuesday, June 2.

Please refer to our Transfer Center Website under "Transfer Counseling Drop-ins" for the entire list and more information.

(Open to all IVC Students)

Time: 2:30pm - 3:30pm

Join us for our First Generation Transfer Panel to learn from 4 - 5 IVC student alumni! You will hear about their experiences first hand and tips of success at the four year university!

(You must RSVP and attend the event to receive the meal ticket.)

Spring Break is NEXT WEEK!🌺
Students are off along with the counselors.

Our office staff will be available Monday-Wednesday (3/16-3/18) to help you schedule appointments, but we will be closed Thursday and Friday (3/19 & 3/20).

The Transfer Center is hosting a Spring 2026: Transfer & Graduate Fair on Tuesday, March 6th from 10am - 1pm in SSC QUAD.

Representatives from over 25 universities, including some graduate programs, will be on campus to answer your transfer and graduate school questions.

We encourage staff, faculty, and students to wear college apparel!

Completing the IVC Student Interest List located on IVC Transfer Center Calendar enters you into a opportunity raffle and send you a reminder of the four year institutions attending!
