UPDATED: I was told MayLily is another scam site as well! . It’s whack-a-mole time again! 😔 Thank you to @maplecottagedesigns for alerting me of another scam site not authorized to sell my patterns. . It is A LOT of hard work the designers put in to make their patterns happen! Any patterns you see from me represents tens of hours my helpers and I put in — TENS of hours! It is very disheartening to see these scamming sites sell my patterns illegally. Again, if the site does NOT credit the designers, and the pictures look iffy, chances they ARE iffy! ALWAYS support your favorite designers directly by buying from the designers, or legitimate quilt shops! Thank you in advance, my quilting friends!! by @ivory_spring

Happy Monday, my friends! . 📣 QUILTS FOR ADOPTION (SALE) TO A GOOD HOME! NEVER USED except for photography purposes. Please forward to your friends and let them know. 🙏🏻 Message me if interested. No pet & non smoking & US ONLY . 📣 I have two sister quilts available to sell! Ideally I would love for them to stay together, but I am willing to sell them separately as well. Asking $700 for both, or $350 each + shipping. Quilt will have labels that authenticate provenance. . 📣 I loved the fabrics so much I designed and made two quilts for editorial features in two separate magazines. . 📣 No. 58 is the little sister. It’s called Pinwheel Parade (featured in Love of Quilting’s Scrap Summer 2016). Finished size is 50” square. You are getting my pointy points with this quilt. I designed, pieced & free motion quilted with feathers this (on my domestic machine). . 📣 No. 59 is the big sister. It is called Twilight Trellis (featured in McCall’s Quilting Sept/Oct 2015). Finished size: 62” square. Designed and pieced by me, and professionally quilted with a beautiful edge to edge modern feather design. . ONE OF A KIND. I think I logged in >350 quilts then. . 💐It’s time to bring back A Quilt A Day (ALL are my original designs) just to see how many physical quilts I have with me as I am reorganizing things & life at my end. . 💐I am only counting: -COMPLETED (quilted & bound) physical quilts I have, excluding designs only exist in digital format or quilts I have gifted away -some of these quilts will be for sale, just because I don’t want my daughter to be saddled with 700+ quilts down the line. She was already concerned at 8 when I only had 250 quilts then. 😳🤣 -I will only share where to get the pattern if I can easily access the information. Many of these quilts are past editorial features. Hello! Gwendolyn is back with a new product! 🍂 How has October been so far for you all? . I said I’d have a new product last week, and I do! I got to work on some adorable autumn soaps for a friend’s birthday! 🎉 Her favorite scent is vanilla, so that’s what they smell like. . On a related note, I’m always happy to make unscented soaps! 🧼 Dealing with fragrance sensitivities can be tough, and it’s important to keep that in mind. . The squirrel figurine makes a reappearance! A very autumnal creature. Did you know October is Squirrel Awareness Month? 🐿️👀 . I hope you have a good long weekend! 🍁 I will see you next week. Progress on Florence Law! My daughter and I took turns stitching Florence during layovers at airports this past summer. I am finishing Florence now that Gwen is back in school. We are already looking for another sampler to stitch together on our next trip! She asked for a pink sampler… so I am now on a hunt for a pink reproduction sampler. . COME STITCH WITH ME and build your floss stash, one spool & sampler at a time! . For those who love to sew with @aurifilthread, you may not know Aurifil also makes cotton 6-stranded embroidery floss. They come wound on a wooden spools! . I will be stitching a series of VERY manageable samplers that only use <10 colors (often just one color) if you want to stitch along and collect your floss along the way! . FLORENCE LAW is going to be my COME STITCH WITH ME sampler until I am finished with her! You can get the chart from your needleworks stores or @handsacrosstheseasamplers. . I am stitching 2 over 2 on a 32 count linen using Aurifloss color 2205. You can get your floss from @fatquartershop. You will need 2 spools if you are stitching the way I am. But buy 3 while you are at it. . If you have any questions on how to get started, just ASK!
